Ce n'est vraiment plus le restaurant qui a fait courir les foules. La cuisine est inégale, une bavette au goût douteux, du vin bouchonné & en voir l'affluence, ce n'est vraiment plus le resto qui partageait le podium avec L'Express & le Leméac. Il reste la magnifique terrasse, avec un bon verre d'eau, ça peut toujours passer!

I've been going to the Café Cherrier for years & years. It's well-located, with friendly staff. The menu is varied & the food is quite good. Not great, but fine. My last visit was for Sunday brunch with my mother. We sat on the terrace. It was an enjoyable outing.

It appears from other reviews that service is unpredictable at times. Our head waiter was actually outstanding & attentive & very professional. He was friendly & made wonderful suggestions. We have fell apart was that any other server that assisted paid no attention to his seat assignments & had to verbally call out over & over again what the dishes were so we constantly had to figure out who had what.

The food though was outstanding in we loved every single part of the meal including dessert & would certainly come back again.

We had a table on the patio & the weather was so nice we absolutely enjoyed the ambiance.

A Montréal pour quelques jours, journées chaude, nous avons luncher au Café Cherrier à deux reprises.
De l'accueil au service tout était parfait, & que dire de la cuisine...
Gaspacho & soupe froide d'asperges du Québec les deux exécutés à la perfection pour les repas principeaux, le gravlax, le gigot d'agneau & les ris de veau étaient divins.

Bravo à toute l'équipe pour la constance & le savoir faire.

Nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes. Malgré quelques ratés dans le service, très bonne qualité des plats, ambiance conviviale, on ne nous a pas mis de limite de temps même si les salle était complète.
