There are very few cats. Only 6. Four of them are hanging out by the cash register with the waitresses. One was sleeping. The other was on a women's lap & if we approached it, she would give us dirty looks. We drove one hour to get there & it was a big let down. This is without counting that there were at least 10 empty tables in the restaurant when we got there. We were a bunch of people all cramped in the entrance waiting to be seated & it took them 20 minutes to seat everyone. It was very ridiculous.
We had so much fun! The cats are very friendly & the food & drinks were delicious!
Very friendly staff, very tasty food & drinks. & of course the cats are absolutely wonderful, great source of serotonin
I visited this cat cafe during my trip to Montreal, & it instantly became one of my favourite stops. The space is clean, cozy, & filled with the cutest furry personalities roaming around. The staff were friendly, patient, & clearly care about the wellbeing of the cats, which made the whole experience even better.
Nice cosy cat cafe in Montreal. Cats are cute & will randomly go up to you to make biscuits or chill on your leg. Most of them are snoozing away though. Recommend taking sofa seats. Nice coffee. Free wifi available.
[UPDATE: While everything in this review still applies, I want to add that the banana pudding is not worth getting, & the waiting time has been entirely reduced with the STM strike in effect.]
Had a great time here. The space was big & pretty cozy, & the employees were all kind.
The cheesecake was delightful, it was sweet, but still had a nice complexity to it. The coffee was alright. They also offer savoury options for those looking for a place to have lunch.
I got lucky to be immediately greeted by a cat on my lap as soon as I settled down, & he was the sweetest little cuddlebug the whole time I was there.
The space was calm & quiet the whole time I was there. I was there for two hours after opening, & didn't have any issues with overcrowding or loud kids.
The only two concerns I have that probably keep the place from being perfect is that it seems understaffed, & could benefit from more thorough cleaning practices.
If you're fond of cats, want a yummy treat, & have realistic expectations, I think you'll have a good time. Say hi to Charlie for me!
Too many kids stressing the cats out... the employees working were so kind & nice tho! Would have been a better experience if the parents would have controlled their kids. Instead of the poor employees having to babysit the kids from doing things to the cats!
