Café Cantinova is a new coffee shop in Saint-Henri that has everything you look for in a café: good coffee, a delicious menu and impeccable vibes (vinyl vibes to be exact). The perfect place to grab a coffee on the go or to hang out and watch the day go by.

We ordered cortado with oat milk. The espresso was beautiful. The cortado was served in a gorgeous clay cup. The soundscape included music playing with a sprawled out sofa seating space on one side & long bench available in the other end of the room. Overall, the cafe with its focus on sound system & equipment at first glance seems too unassuming for a cafe space. It turned out to be a great Saturday find.
Super cool café/ lounge pour écouter & shopper des disques vinyles, faire réparer sa table tournante, acheter du matos audiophonique vintage, etc. Kaz, le propriétaire est ultra sympathique connaît tous les secrets ( ou presque ! ) en matière d'audiophonie...
L'endroit est tellement cool que les musiciens adorent y faire des jams... & Kaz y permet aussi certains autres événements de musique & culturel...
À voir, & à passer pour prendre un café ou pour participer à un événement ...

Amazing cafe with an incredible vibe. The space is beautifully designed, relaxed, & instantly makes you want to stay a while. The atmosphere alone sets this place apart. The staff were welcoming, friendly, & attentive, making the experience feel easy & enjoyable from start to finish. You can tell a lot of care has gone into both the look of the cafe & the way customers are treated. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.

My favourite cafe in Montreal! The vibe is unmatched. Great coffee & amazing atmosphere. The staff is super welcoming & they often host really cool community events/ live music! Highly recommend checking it out

Cantinova Cafe is such a nice spot. Kaz the owner is a gracious host & always makes you feel welcome. The coffee is great & the vibe is relaxed & friendly.
It's also super convenient as a dropoff point for Audiophonie who did an amazing job fixing my Technics 1200. Made the whole process really easy.
Definitely recommend both the cafe & the repair shop.
10's across the board! I recently was in Montreal (Saint Henri area) for two weeks attending the Gradient Academy next door. Living in NYC I thought we had all the milks possible but honestly this 3% milk phenomenon blows NY cappuccinos away. I thoroughly enjoyed my daily dose of caffeine while listening to amazing records & absorbing all that Cafe Cantinova + Montreal has to offer.
Such a vibe cafe. Really would be great for artist hangout or events. Id go. I ordered a latte but I didnt like the flavor of the plant milk they use. Id recommend just getting a drink without those plant milks they use if you go.
I recently visited the cafe & the owner was super nice & the coffee was amazing. Atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. I recommend anybody who likes to have a little getaway. To visit this place

Very cute little cosy cafe with an amazing owner, so kind & generous.
When we came, there was a show & a little fundraiser for a great cause.
Loved the vibes & delicious pastry that was offered to us for taking part of the cause.
I definitely recommend if you're in the area, walking by the water this summer, they do everything cold brew as well :)
Excellent cafe! The hot & iced drinks are amazing :) The atmosphere is cozy & the the staff is friendly & attentive. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great coffee experience!

Absolutely amazing! This cafe has such a beautiful ambiance, delicious savoury sandwiches, extraordinary sweets & the lattes are made perfectly!! The staff is extremely kind & were patient when I asked what was in all the food. I would recommend this spot to anybody that is looking for a cozy place to catch up with friends or even spend some quality alone time! I will be returning very soon!
This cafe is the perfect spot for those seeking a latte or bite to eat, but where it really shines is with the sound system & audio repair shop - a definite haven for audiophiles! Kaz helped me out a ton by testing my speakers & giving an expert appraisal. They also had DeMello coffee, my personal fave. This spot is a hidden treasure in MTL!
Je ne mange pas, mais cela a toujours l'air bon. Le café & le décor rococo me plaisent énormément, moi, le sofa jaune j'adore 🥰 l'espresso & le personnel qui est gentil & me semble toujours être des gens différents chaque fois, comme des artistes qui sont de passage, je trouve ça cool.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Everything about this cafe is amazing, especially the friendliness of the owner. Great atmosphere & food, would come here more often if I lived close by.
