I went to Cafe Aunja twice this past week! Both times around 11am or so & although it was a bit busy, my friends & I found tables fairly easily/ after a brief wait. The set up is that you order at the counter & sit wherever. The first time I got the Majoun smoothie which was absolutely delicious, filling, & well sized (highly recommend!). A few days later I went back for brunch, & got the Mountain Omelette - also very yummy! I look forward to trying more of their drinks & food in the future.
I know this place since 2015, The owners are very nice & welcome. Everything is there was nice. I wish your new place would be more successful than this one.
Super spot! Super cozy, bon service, belle ambiance... La tisane menthe & jujube était vraiment bonne! J'ai oublié de bien mélanger; gênez vous pas de la brassée puisqu'elle est un peu sucré & qu'il le mette en début de préparation ;)
This is one of those kinds of places that really does deserve 5 stars. We had smoothies with banana, walnut & date which had highly interesting & delicious flavor & texture, a chocolate cake that I could say the same about, & probably the best lentil soup I've ever had.

Ordered hot chocolate & a cake to go; the hot chocolate was hot, thick & delicious; wasn't expecting it to be that good at a cafe seemed specialized in tea! The cake was fresh & moisture, every bite was a treat! Cool decoration & plenty seats in the cafe. Pleasant service.
Quite possible the best sandwich I have ever had. Delicious strong coffee & warm cozy vibe with lots of seating. Great spot to eat before or after museum of fine arts.
My favourite café in Montreal hands down. It feels so cozy & homey, perfect for catching up with a friend, journaling, drawing or just sipping on some really good tea. I always get the Persian Fog & it never disappoints. It's a perfect balance between sweet & salty. I've also tried the Persian Fragrance tea which is another great option & the Chicken Koukou. Not a huge fan of the chicken Koukou as I found it to be a bit bland, but that's a personal preference.
Café Aunja is absolutely adorable! the decor reminds me of having tea parties at my grandparents house from the walls to the tables. this cafe is a perfect place for a friends rendezvous & a pastry.
