Review Summary

Café 92 Degres is widely regarded as a beloved neighborhood gem in NDG, frequently praised for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and high quality Mexican inspired coffee and food. Many patrons highlight the unique lattes, such as the Biscoff and pistachio varieties, alongside standout items like the tuna sandwich and authentic hot chocolate. The space often serves as a comfortable hub for students and locals alike, offering a cozy environment with artisan goods available for purchase. While the majority of feedback is glowing regarding the service and consistent value, some reviewers have noted occasional issues with food consistency, portion sizes, or crowd levels during peak hours. Overall, it remains a highly recommended destination for those seeking a warm, community focused café experience.

As I am someone who doesn't drink coffee & this is a café, you can take my review with a grain of salt.

The people here seem nice & I like the Mexican decor. Apart from that, I'm not a huge fan of the ambiance - tends to be very cramped & crowded. It's one of those places where you really need to fight to give no tip on card, even though you're the one putting your stuff in a bin after you eat.

The prices feel low when you enter, but the portions are small & it ends up being a place you'll spend over 20$ on food & still be hungry. Been here three times now & the toast has been burnt all three times, the soup tastes like it is canned or something. The molletes aren't really the kind you'll see if you look them up online (an open faced sandwich), it's just some bread with beans & some basic, tasteless cheese on it. Overall the food isn't disgusting (apart from the burnt bread), but just feels like hospital level food or whatever.
