As I am someone who doesn't drink coffee & this is a café, you can take my review with a grain of salt.
The people here seem nice & I like the Mexican decor. Apart from that, I'm not a huge fan of the ambiance - tends to be very cramped & crowded. It's one of those places where you really need to fight to give no tip on card, even though you're the one putting your stuff in a bin after you eat.
The prices feel low when you enter, but the portions are small & it ends up being a place you'll spend over 20$ on food & still be hungry. Been here three times now & the toast has been burnt all three times, the soup tastes like it is canned or something. The molletes aren't really the kind you'll see if you look them up online (an open faced sandwich), it's just some bread with beans & some basic, tasteless cheese on it. Overall the food isn't disgusting (apart from the burnt bread), but just feels like hospital level food or whatever.
Small & delicious café in every sense of the word. Great soups great sandwiches, superb coffees & drinks all inspired by the very soulful Mexican owner who's spirit fills the restaurant with care & passion.
Amazing place to work & meet people & chat. food is amazing service is wow . drinks are delicious. Love it. so lucky to live nearby
I love this little cafe, I've been here a couple of times now & have never been disappointed. Besides my new addiction to their Biscoff latte, the gentleman behind the counter is the reason I come back, he is extremely inviting & always has a smile on his face. They also have a large range of drinks & food for all kinds of taste buds. Would definitely recommend.
We had today's combo package, which is well arranged with soup, sandwich & choice of drinks. We were well served the lunch.
One of my favourite regular spots. The cozy atmosphere, kind service, & delicious (& reasonably priced) food & drink make this spot the quintessential community cafe. You have the feeling that everyone knows each other, & the varied, but not overwhelming, menu is consistently tasty. Always a pleasure!
Great authentic food & drinks. The staff is friendly, & the place is cozy, simple, & welcoming. I especially enjoyed their soups, salads, & quesadillas.
I tried the chicken quesadilla & it was good. Although it looks like a small portion but it's quite filling. The molletes was tasty as well. For the drinks, hibiscus juice was my choice & also the canned peppermint+dandelion sparkling water. The vibe of the cafe is good.
