As I am someone who doesn't drink coffee & this is a café, you can take my review with a grain of salt.
The people here seem nice & I like the Mexican decor. Apart from that, I'm not a huge fan of the ambiance - tends to be very cramped & crowded. It's one of those places where you really need to fight to give no tip on card, even though you're the one putting your stuff in a bin after you eat.
The prices feel low when you enter, but the portions are small & it ends up being a place you'll spend over 20$ on food & still be hungry. Been here three times now & the toast has been burnt all three times, the soup tastes like it is canned or something. The molletes aren't really the kind you'll see if you look them up online (an open faced sandwich), it's just some bread with beans & some basic, tasteless cheese on it. Overall the food isn't disgusting (apart from the burnt bread), but just feels like hospital level food or whatever.
Small & delicious café in every sense of the word. Great soups great sandwiches, superb coffees & drinks all inspired by the very soulful Mexican owner who's spirit fills the restaurant with care & passion.
Mexican hot chocolate is so good! People working there are always very pleasant too.
I absolutely love this place. I go back for their mocha because they use Mexican hot chocolate. The service is incredible. The staff is amazing. & they speak a multitude of languages when you go in there, so if you don't speak English if you don't speak French if you don't speak Spanish, someone in there speaks a language, you know.
Owned by Mexicans. Plenty of seating inside & outside. Great choice of cookies & shortbread. Limited choice on savory items but delicious. Will come back again.
Really nice coffee shop, they have some nice authentic Mexican food options & they sell coffee beans as well.
Great coffee shop; pleasant staff, tasty mexican food & good coffee. Definitely an NDG staple at this point. Oh & there's always cool art on display! Only problem is that I wish they controlled the temperature better in the shop.
Interesting place with a Mexican decoration & some Mexican products. From outside you cannot guess what will you find inside. Gentle service.
Beautiful small coffee place in the heart of NDG... I love it... their Mexican flavors & ambiance are delightful
Very relaxed, low key cafe with delicious Mexican mocha. Their food is really tasty, especially the quesadillas. & they have lots of Mexican sauces & spices to buy. As well as local artisan jewelry & accessories. Love the community spirit. But mainly the coffee.
Great place for coffee. Their muffins are the best.Try their Mexican hot chocolate as fall has arrived & winter is approaching.
Great little neighbourhood cafe with a Mexican influence. The Mexican hot chocolate brings me back to my time spent backpacking through the country. Delicious, cozy, comfy.
