About us
The sugar shack
Founded in 1941, Cabane à sucre Constantin has always stood out for the quality and diversity of its products. Quality, service and atmosphere are the guidelines of La Famille Constantin. Whether it is for food, activities or the festive atmosphere, no matter the season, there is always something to do at Cabane à sucre Constantin.
From Valentine's Day until the end of April, sugaring-off time is in full swing. Come and savor our traditional sugaring-off menu served at will.
Have a fun time with us. Several activities are available: taffy on snow, dance hall, horse-drawn sleigh ride ($), mini-farm and exotic animals ($), inflatable games, doll museum, puppet theater, mini 4-wheel circuit ($ ), hiking, souvenir shop, visit of the evaporators (upon reservation).

Menu classique de cabane à sucre. Rien de spécial. Plutôt cher pour aller manger collé à des étrangers. Les pommes de terre bouillies, pas le best pour ce genre de place. Sinon très correct.

C'était notre première fois, & nous avons tout adoré, l'accueil, le service de notre serveuse Mélanie ,la nourriture était chaude & excellente, la crème glacée tellement bonne ! La boutique est incroyable avec des produits de qualité. & pour finir le monsieur qui nous accueille pour la tire sur la neige qui est un membre de la famille Constantin, était vraiment gentil & généreux de nous informer sur l'histoire de cette cabane a sucre. This was our first time visiting a sugar shack, & unfortunately, it started off on the wrong foot. The hostess, an older lady, was noticeably grumpy-no smiles, no greeting, just a blank stare. We don't speak much French, but we were friendly & more than willing to figure things out. Her attitude made for an awkward welcome.
Thankfully, our waitress completely turned the experience around. She was incredibly kind & took the time to explain everything to us, making the meal much more enjoyable.
As for the food, the pickled cucumbers & onions (served as condiments) were quite good, & the coleslaw was decent, but everything else was underwhelming. That said, the desserts were exceptional-both the pouding chômeur & the sugar pie with ice cream were some of the best I've ever had.
Overall, I'm glad we tried it, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it. The desserts alone were memorable, but the overall experience just wasn't great.View more

Bonjour à tous, cela fait environ une dizaine d'années que je vais à chaque année pour le temps des fêtes & probablement une ou deux autres fois durant l'année! À chaque fois je prends la tourtière ( elle est vraiment délicieuse) ensuite je prends toujours des plats de dinde en sauce & des pâtés aux poulet & pour dessert je prends toujours leurs succulentes tartes aux sucre & leurs imbattable beignes aux patates. Je vous recommande vivement d'y aller & d'acheter au moins une tourtière & une tarte aux sucre vous ne le regretterez pas sinon c'est moi qui les mangera!View more
