I moved to the area, & wanted to try something new, & these folks did not disappoint! My favorite thing was the papusa pescada! But everything else was delicious too! We plan ok coming back again soon!
Je reviens chaques mois pour ma doses de cuisine latine le service est impeccable & la bouffe maison tellement bonne nous avons essayer plein de plats avec le temps & aucun nous as decu!! Pupusas sont les meilleur en ville .
This place is amazing! My friend & I come every 2 months & it never disappoints. Highly recommend the pupusas & shrimp tacos but everything is delicious! The owner & staff are alway super friendly & kind!
Ils sont tellement gentils! Ils me donnent toujours des churros ou un horchata gratuit (je prend toujours 2 plats) en général je prend toujours un huarrache, + le menu déjeuner (servi toute la journée!)
I had to try this place after my friend wouldn't stop talking about it. A great family owned restaurant that makes you feel like you're back in El Salvador.
Very fast & friendly service! It took no time for our table of six to be served. I ordered too much food & my bill was under $40!
The pupusas are massive (the portions are generally very generous) & the menu is so extensive that there is something for everyone.
I was disappointed with my experience at Cabanas. I ordered take out & when I got home I realized that the restaurant had forgotten one of my pupusas, & no one mentioned it when they handed the order to me. Maybe double-checking orders before handing them out would help avoid this.
The pupusas I did receive were a bit bland. I also
ordered chicharron as an appetizer, but it lacked flavor & was pretty underwhelming. The yuca was extremely oily & seemed old, like it hadn't been freshly prepared.
Overall, the missing item & the food quality made the experience frustrating. I hope they improve their quality control & communication with customers in the future.
Went here at the recommendation of a colleague. Wow! Amazing food with hearty portions; I ordered a bunch of food & now have leftovers for lunch because I didn't realize the portions were so big. I spoke franglais with a waiter. The staff are friendly, kind, & generous. I took the food home with me; they gave me huge portions of sauce (almost too much?!) & a big salad as well.
I can't wait to try more food on their menu!
