Didn't expect the food to be SO good for such a lowkey spot! The tartare was absolutely delicious, the burrata salad was so fresh & so was the shrimp roll. The terrace was really lovely, although our dishes took quite a bit to come out.View more

One of my favorite places in all of Montréal! This is such a cute spot if you are looking for something lowkey with a high end but hip vibe with a great wine selection in the Old Port of Montréal. The music selection was very chill yet versatile. In addition, the staff did a great job with recommendations of the elaborate food, drink & wine list. There wasn't along wait for anything at all. Genevieve & Arnaud deserve a raise with how they both manage their staff during the times of rushes. Would recommend this spot 10/10 times to anyone. I wanted to go there for quite a while so maybe that's why I was a bit disappointed. We were a group of 5. Worth a try but I wouldn't go back. The place is stunning & the mood was really nice. Nothing bad to say on that part. It's more expensive than most other great Buvettes in Montreal but that was to be expected because of their location (Old Port). Food was tasty although small in portions. The burrata was delicious, a must. Their cocktails were pretty good too! For us the big let down was the lack of knowledge & service around the wine. I'm used to having people know their wine products properly, especially if you call yourself a Buvette. So all in all, if the place wasn't called a Buvette I'd give it a 4 star since most things were pretty good but I don't want someone else to think they will have a nice wine tasting experience.View more
