What I didn't like is wines start at$62 fine but anything good starts at 72+ .. ok you'll say it's old mtl …wine was okish…Nice outdoor terrasse, seats are not comfortable , table slightly high & you smell vehicle exhaust on the street- not pleasant when you eat …the food is ordinary for price - the tuna tostada is ok & the xl potato is good - the charcuterie board with 3 small slices cheese & meats , small amt , 3 very small eggplant looking things & 2 quarters artichoke on plate ?? shriveled no taste At 45$ with 3 small slices of bread is overpriced - there is much better at nearby restaurants : my 195 bill for this was not worth it : I'll pay if it's good but not worth this price - service was ok : ok doesn't warrant $200 wish I had gone somewhere else really…
Beautiful terrasse, 100% Montreal vibes! The food was delicious & so fresh, the ambiance was fantastic with good music, not too loud, just perfect! & of course, my fav rosé is on the wine list! Definitely recommended for happy hours or a casual dinner.
Buvette Pastek became a favourite for us during our time in Canada, visiting on both occasions that we were in Montreal ☀?. The menu is excellent 🍽?, & the atmosphere made it an easy place to return to 🌿.
On our first visit, the server recommended a bottle of Canadian natural wine 🍷, & on our second visit we each had a glass of Pinot Gris 🍇.
Each time we sat on the terrace in the sun 🌞, while other tables enjoyed cocktails 🍸. The bread was very good 🥖, but the fried olives were the standout dish for me 🫒.
Between the welcoming atmosphere, the enjoyable terrace, & a menu that drew us back twice, Buvette Pastek is somewhere I would happily return to again.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vivette Pastèque, & I just have to share how lovely it was. Their wine selection is honestly a little treasure trove-you'll find something delightful for any taste. & can we talk about Jan? Gen is absolutely wonderful, super attentive & really adds that extra sparkle to the experience. Oh, & the brunches? They're just deliciously good-the kind that makes you want to come back for more cozy weekend vibes. Definitely a spot worth visiting!
Hit Buvette Pastek before a night out & it did not disappoint. Ambience was on point, food was really good, & the manager Gen was awesome - super attentive & gave great wine recs to go with everything. All around a great time & would 100% come back next trip.
After an unfortunate welcome at Marcella, we stumbled upon Buvette Pastek by chance-& it turned out to be the best surprise of the evening.
The place wasn't overcrowded, the music was at the perfect level, & the atmosphere immediately felt inviting. The menu is simple but thoughtful, & the wine list is excellent (with very reasonable prices).
We ended up staying more than three hours-just the two of us catching up-& I can honestly say it was the best $400 I've ever spent at a restaurant. The service was warm, attentive, & understanding without ever being pushy. The food was delicious, & everything about the experience made us feel taken care of.
Sometimes the best nights happen by accident, & Buvette Pastek truly delivered. Highly recommended.
