Très joli bar au vieux centre de Montréal, service très attentive & impeccable, ou nous avons bu un très bon vin québécois pour la première fois dans notre vie. Vin était bien choisi par la sommelière. A plus.
On arrive, toutes les places dans la fenêtre sont libres & sans réservation , mais comme on ne paie pas de mine puisqu'on arrive du musée & que nous ne sommes pas jeunes (55 ans), le jeune homme à l'entrée nous impose le comptoir au bar. Il faudrait informer le responsable du bar ce qu'est un barman… Service froid, lent & désorganisé alors que la buvette est presque vide. 120$ tips inclus pour deux cocktails & deux verres de Prosecco. Nous sommes restés 40 minutes & nous n'avons pas mangé.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de souper pour la première fois dans ce restaurant samedi dernier, & l'expérience fut mémorable. Le service, assuré par l'hotêsse, le serveur, le barman ainsi que le gérant ( Arnaud ), était irréprochable. Quant à la nourriture, elle fut tout simplement exquise. 5/5 💯
Je me suis arrêté à ce resto/bar pour boire un coup & c'était très bien. Le barman Arnaud fait des cocktails formidables & il est très aimable. Je me suis revenu le prochain soir.
Lovely wine bar with good selection of food on a rotating menu & cocktails + mocktails are good too, although on the pricier side (~20$ each) but that seems to be the average nowadays at places like these. Tried their focaccia, pasta, broccolini & duck, all delicious. Great place for sharing plates & vibes are nice for dinner although a little dark. Would come back to try more of their food! Resos were also convenient.
Mon amie & moi marchions dans le Vieux-Montréal à la recherche d'un restaurant servant des huîtres, & nous sommes tombées par hasard sur Buvette Pastek. Quelle belle découverte! Tout était parfait : le choix des vins, la nourriture, le service & l'ambiance. Une mention spéciale à notre barman, Zachary, pour son service exceptionnel. Une expérience à refaire sans hésitation!

A lovely little wine bar, small menu but was pretty good. The wine options were heavily Quebec wines & if you are not familiar with it may be a bit surprising. The service was great but the patio is very tightly packed & next to a sneaker store that blares music that can become a bit overwhelming
Came here with colleagues last night & although we did not have the opportunity to try the food, we had an amazing selection of drinks. I personally enjoyed the lavender sour so much that I had to have a second one! The staff were super helpful & friendly, & the general vibe of the bar is awesome. A cool kind of modern art deco take with large windows looking out into the old port street. I will definitely be back & I'll be sure to try the food next time around!
Nice patio outside, beautiful decor in a great location ... but a wine bar with only two choices of red? A $37 charcuterie board with cheap prosciutto & Brie? Not bad, but also not great.

In a word, exquisite! Buvette Pastek is a true gem in the heart of Old Montreal, centrally located on rue St Paul. Beautiful, scrumptious dishes, reasonably priced & generous apportioned are served well & in a very comfy, airy, & bright decor. We were very well cared for, especially by the delightful Kathleen & our charming barista Brandon, as well as the other members of the service team. Of note were the avocado toast (truly the best I've ever had in a restaurant) & the gravlax (admittedly even better than my own homemade version). Everything sampled was truly exceptional & we were treated very, very well & never made to feel rushed, in spite of the dining room being noticeably busy. They have a lovely outdoor patio (terrasse) that looks very inviting. If you're looking for a sure win, check out this elegant & yet unpretentious restaurant for a wonderful experience of delicious food & coffee!
Beautiful bar to stop for a drink & snack while shopping in the area. The staff is attentive, & the appetizers are delicious...I really enjoyed the potatoes & cheese board.
Excellent wine & cocktail bar. The fresh oysters are awesome. However you should not view this as a full restaurant. It has limited small plates(tapas), that are excellent but pricey. Go for drinks & oysters.
The lox tartine was great, but I will say we left very nervous about COVID measures not being applied within the restaurant. No one asked for our proof of vaccination when we came in & we didn't notice anyone else being asked for it. The tables were very close together with no physical barriers, & half the staff had their mask under their noses.
