Nos vinaigrettes, notre sauce ainsi que plusieurs autres ingrédients sont fait maison, et nos soupes sont préparées quotidiennement. Nos frites, coupées à la main, sont cuites dans de l'huile d'arachide. 0% cholesterol. I first ate at this restaurant 10 yrs ago & the experience was excellent. I visited again, this week, & the huge bacon cheeseburger was excellent, as usual, & cooked perfectly to order. Unfortunately, the man taking orders was curt & lacked some basic customer service skills, such as reading back your order for accuracy & anticipating needs. I paid my bill with a credit card & then noticed he charged me $5 for a side order of coleslaw. I said I did not order a bowl of coleslaw, I simply asked for some coleslaw on my burger. He abruptly said coleslaw was not a free burger topping & pointed to an almost illegible list of toppings on a dark chalkboard between two bright windows. He would not reimburse me. It would have been nice if he had pointed out the list of toppings while we ordered. I was looking only at the menu behind the cash. I also ordered french fries, which he forgot about completely (& they never ended up on my bill, anyways). I just let it go after the coleslaw nonsense. The coleslaw, by the way, was delicious… & seasoned, I believe, with dill (sweet & tasty)! I recommend trying it. The fountain drink was served without ice at room temperature. The dining room & bathroom could use some stylish renovations. Food is served on decent restaurant china with metal cutlery. We ordered two burgers ($31), coleslaw ($5), one fountain drink ($3) plus tax & tip = $49. I thought that was only average value for a casual diner experience.
Great little place for a quick meal. We sat outside on a sunny day. I had a grilled chicken breast sandwich with lots of toppings (sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, etc. etc.) It was a tasty slice of fresh chicken breast freshly grilled. My husband had a grilled portabella mushroom burger with a slice of grilled goat cheese & many grilled veggies. He can be fussy but was surprisingly pleased with what he got! We shared a huge plate of fries which were very good.
The owner took our order & was approachable & friendly as was our server. We'll be back!!

Fantastic little burger joint in Montreal West! Voted best Burgers in Montreal & they're not wrong! Had a Bacon Cheeseburger with caramelized onions & the wife Hamburger Steak, in a word AMAZING. Grilled to perfection with a nice crisp on the outside. Small Poutin easily feeds 2. Friendly courteous staff, very enjoyable experience.
Their cheese burger is good, the meat is flavourful, juicy, & nicely charred. Fries are fresh & crispy. Only issue for me was the dining area. Depending where you sit, the heat blows down on you & other times it's freezing cold.
The food was great. I chose the bacon & cheese burger which was delicious. It was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The atmosphere of the restaurant is simple & old. But the problem is that the night we went here, the temperature of this place was low & we felt cold. In my opinion, they should make the restaurant warm.
i cant even describe my experience, i felt like i was levitating when i smelt the aroma of the delicious luxurious food from across the street, when i walked in i felt like dancing when i saw the atmosphere, the natural enjoyment from the customer's. when i ordered my poutine it was more than i can imagine, the fries freshly baked with the perfect amout of seasoning & crispyness, the gravy oh so savory & delightful, the cheese wasnt any cheap cheese, it was from the cheese gods from cheese heaven & it was the best cheese i tasted in my entire lifetime. i felt like having a seizure right then & there & i can never get over the flavour amd tenderness🤤 100000000/10 recommend i will sell my soul to satan to have this, it is very very good & i will never forget this experience. P.S i love the straws i hate them stupid paper ones but Burger De Villes straws are 100% plant or smth but it was enjoyable & reliving to have anything other than paper straws🙏

Been going there happily for years but today I called in an order to be pickup by us. The person was rude on the phone, telling me (madly) that I wasn't listing my order in the right way... Cause I said cheese before mustard!?
Then we picked up the order & went home only to realize that half the dressings were missing one of the burgers. & when I called to see if they could fix it, I was told that it was just too bad & that they wouldn't do anything because dressings are free (aren't the dressings giving the taste to the burger?).
One bad employee doesn't make a restaurant. But today is Thursday Jan. 30th & I'm never going back there.
