Reviews describe Bun Mam Ninh Kieu as offering tasty southern Vietnamese dishes in a clean, cozy setting with friendly, helpful staff who explain the menu and keep service quick. Dishes like pho, banh mi, and a standout Vietnamese coffee are highlighted for flavor and generous portions, with many diners noting good value and reliable takeout or dine-in experiences. While the experience is largely positive, a few meals are felt to be a touch underseasoned and a couple of comments mention inconsistencies in delivery or seating comfort. Several reviewers call it a neighborhood gem and say they would return to try other items, particularly the distinctive Bun Mam and other specialties. Overall, Bun Mam Ninh Kieu is seen as a solid, authentic option for casual Vietnamese meals with broad menu variety and approachable prices.
Must try! It felt like I was at home when I visited. Everything was super delicious, it did not disappoint. The owner came by to say hi to use & she's the sweetest lil lady. Super welcoming , fantastic service & delicious food. They had an extensive menu & a wide range of variety to choose from.
Stopped here while on a weekend trip to Montreal. I had the best Banh Mi I've ever had here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing, quick, fresh, & affordable meal. 😁
This place is absolutely must if you're a PHO fan & love authentic cuisine. Incredible food, lots of great options, service was flawless, friendly & welcoming. 10/10
+++ Excellent selection of pho, bahn mi, & other Vietnamese dishes. +++ Friendly & attentive service. +++ Rapid cooking process. --- Uneven pricing. This place plays the hand it's been dealt with confidence & bravado. Looking like an unassuming corner-shop on the outside, the interior reveals a tastefully decorated little place & a staff that always bears a sunny disposition. Stick to the classics to guarantee a tasty meal at a fair price.
i got the beef flank pho to go. the beef flank was tender & flavorful, the broth not so much. adequate portion size, average overall, but it did its job of fulfilling my need for warm soup & carbs
Had a late lunch here & ordered pho, bun mam, & rice with short ribs. The pho was quite ordinary, nothing too special. The short ribs were a bit chewy, making it challenging for the kids to enjoy. On the positive side, the bun mam was delicious, incredibly flavorful, & loaded with seafood. However, despite ordering an XL portion, I left still feeling hungry. Service was quick & courteous.
I ordered the vegan bao which had tofu inside with veggies. One order came with 2 baos. I did not know, so I ordered 2 & ended up with 4 baos. It was delicious.
As a Vietnamese, I always seek out Viet food wherever I go. We came across this little restaurant after having some mediocre Portuguese chicken from a famous place nearby & were surprised by how good it was. I was so happy to finally see some authentic Viet dishes such as canh bun, bun oc, goi oc, etc. Would definitely come back!
I’ve never had Bun Mam before so I can’t tell whether it’s authentic or not but it’s really delicious! I finished everything in my bowl. Definitely recommend the bun Mam here!
