I come here very often, with family & friends. Today I came with my mom for lunch & everything was going well as usual, the young waiter who served us was excellent, we paid our bill, left him a good tip & we were on our way out. Suddenly a waiter who was NOT even serving our table stopped us on the way out, not to say'bye' or'thank you' or'have a nice day' but to ask us if we had paid our bill. I don't know his name he's always there when I go he's a bit older may be he's the manager & he walks like a girl. Out of all the customers in the restaurant, somehow we were the ones singled out & questioned, since I seriously doubt staff stop clients on their way out to ask if they paid their bill.
What made this especially upsetting is that it genuinely felt like we were being judged based on our appearance & skin color. Whether intentional or not, that interaction was embarrassing & left a very negative impression on us, coming from someone who did NOT even serve our table or came to see us once during service.
The experience was humiliating, insulting, & honestly infuriating. There is a certain way people are looked at & treated when assumptions are being made about them, & that is exactly how this felt. I have eaten at countless restaurants & have never once been stopped at the exit & asked if I paid before leaving. No paying customer should have to walk out of a restaurant feeling embarrassed in front of others after supporting the business.
Management/Ownership seriously needs to address this behavior, because experiences like this are exactly how loyal customers are lost, & I hope this person never treats other paying loyal customers the same way based on what they look like.
Very busy restaurant. They have good variety of good. Taste is just ok. The staffs are very nice.
This is a buffet-style restaurant where you serve yourself, so table service is minimal. Food was okay, but the experience was ruined when staff questioned me about not leaving a big enough tip. The staff blatantly told me, they won't get paid (which is a straight up lie).
Staff need reminding that tipping is not mandatory nor against the law -especially in a self-serve setting -& customers shouldn't be confronted about it. Very uncomfortable experience & I won't be returning.
We have been here lots of times & every time we request John to serve us. He always has a smile on his face & he doesn't rush us . He's always clearly our table he takes good care of his tables. The other staff tonight were very happy to & cleaned the dishes too. We have never had a bad experience when dining here. The food was piping hot & the kitchen staff were busy filling up whatever needed more food .
The food was acceptable. Personally, the highlight for me was the costco shrimp & orange jello
Visited today from Toronto for lunch buffet. The bill for two people came to $52+, & I added a $5 tip.
After paying, the server told us the bill wasn't'closed' because the tip was too low & started explaining about low salary & no commission. This made us very uncomfortable. Tipping should be optional & based on service-not something customers are pressured into.
This is a well-known restaurant, so I expected better professionalism. Unfortunately, the staff attitude did not match the reputation.
Management should seriously look into this & train staff to respect customers. I've attached a photo for reference.
le pire buffet chinois ont dirais des plat acheter a l épicerie oui oui ces non non
Pros:
A) The restaurant looks pretty clean even the bathrooms but I feel more needs to be done about the bathrooms.
B) Many food options available & staff are kind & service is alright.
C) The space is very open unlike the previous buffet. New owners & management but same building.
Cons:
A) Food may have signage on them. Please make sure it's in French.
B) Sushi bar was far into the corner so it was hard to see. Did not try.
C) Foods may be salty & heavy with oil.
D) Service needs improvement. The waiters feel very rushed & after no receipts after we payed.
Conclusion:
Although the place is an improvement from the previous buffet. I will not come here again. No prices opening times no website etc. You get quantity over quality for me.

It the first visit to this buffet. Travel in from Chambly for the food that's always fresh. Items in the buffet are clearly identified. Had dinner with a friend. Not rushed at all even though it was dinner hour. Our waiter, John, was super attentive . Can't wait to go back!
