Surely there are many Indian or pan-Asian restaurants to choose from; but the question is what really sets them apart?

From my experience it's a combination of various aspects including…

Owners that care & are involved in making their restaurant stand out, which typically translates into longevity & success.

Putting thought & effort into their menus, marketing & a fair pricing structure. Their signage & menus are very appealing to look at which is a bonus.

Using quality ingredients & having well trained kitchen staff led by an experienced (or even better very experienced) chef to prepare the dishes with attention to detail, plus exquisite presentations filled with colours & steaming with traditional aromas.

Maintaining high levels of the above with matching kind & respectful service on a day-to-day basis while making every customer feel like a VIP.

I felt all those things when I visited & had a very memorable meal. There are so many dishes to try - I will admit - I must make it a point to indulge in the many others.

Bravo on the great job you are doing running your restaurant during these unique economic times.

This place was amazing! We love Indian food but this establishment was entirely different experience. We ordered the mes buffet style to sample everything & we were not disappointed. Each dish was perfect temperature, texture & uniquely flavored. Such a vast variety of lamb, chicken & vegan dishes. The staff were very pleasant & fluent in English & French.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Their team is always warm & welcoming. I'm not sure if it's family run, but it sure does feel like it. The All You Can Eat formula lets you sample a good mix of dishes. Everything is made with care & delightful flavors. I've dined here countless times & have never been disappointed. Cooking & serving food is at core an act of love, & if you open your heart to it, you will feel it there.

Very expensive! Sub-par taste & items are not authentic enough. Spent close to 35$/person (weekend). Not worth it at all! It was a stressful experience- $1 for any dish not eaten on an all u can eat menu. Didn't get to try dishes as I was so focused on finishing up each bowl fully. The website & menu items are not as per previous reviews. Service was good.

I have been here several times for the all-you-can-eat, & I order only vegetarian dishes. I love that the menu changes from day to day; I like the size of the portions: they are small so that you can taste a wide variety of dishes, & you don't end up wasting anything. (You can order more of something if you liked it!) Great appetizers too each day. The service is friendly, & the price is reasonable. The food is as good as any along Jean Talon & better than anything downtown.

Buffet Maharani is an amazing restaurant in Montreal that offers a wide variety of delicious Indian dishes. The food is flavorful, the service is top-notch, & the ambiance is inviting. I highly recommend trying their butter chicken, naan bread, & mango lassi. The staff is friendly & attentive, making sure you have a fantastic dining experience. Overall, Buffet Maharani deserves a glowing 5-star review for their exceptional food & service. Preet & Abd Al-Rahman were amazing. Very delicious. Great authentic Indian restaurant . The à la carte buffet is such an amazing way to taste all the delicious dishes & flavours. We loved it & we will be back for sure. The owner Masum was very welcoming & kind. Thank you very much! A must try!

Beautiful restaurant foods was excellent,we tried so many different dishes with same price, service was great,we recommend to try this place, no other Indian Restaurant will give this much different kind of dishes only $17.95 great experience we will go back.
