About

Buffet Chinois Fu Lam offers an expansive selection of Chinese and Szechuan cuisine presented in a self-service buffet format. The culinary repertoire features a rotating array of stir-fried dishes, steamed dumplings, savory noodle preparations, and various protein options seasoned with traditional spices. Patrons interact with numerous serving stations that highlight regional flavor profiles ranging from mild Cantonese staples to the bolder, peppercorn-infused heat characteristic of Szechuan cooking. The facility accommodates high-capacity seating arrangements suitable for large groups and families seeking a straightforward dining experience. Specialized counters often include freshly prepared sushi selections alongside deep-fried appetizers and classic soup varieties. The operational focus remains on providing a broad variety of readily available hot food items maintained at consistent temperatures for immediate consumption within an open, casual environment.

Review Summary

Buffet Chinois Fu Lam is frequently praised for its flavorful, high-quality Chinese comfort food and generous portion sizes that offer great value for the price. While many customers appreciate the efficient, courteous service and the consistency of the dishes, the establishment currently operates as a takeout counter rather than a traditional buffet. Mixed feedback exists regarding specific items, with some patrons noting issues like greasy textures or incorrect order fulfillment, particularly regarding the substitution of chow mein for chop suey, yet many diners remain loyal and highly recommend the experience for a satisfying treat.

⭐❓❓❓❓❓ for the mysterious disappearance of chow mein.

We LOVE this place. Truly. When we want American Chinese food, this is THE spot. Always hits. No debate.

HOWEVER.
WHERE. IS. THE. CHOW. MEIN.

Every single time we order chow mein, we receive chop suey instead. & listen; chop suey is GOOD. We like chop suey. But one day we ordered a combo with
At that point it felt like a threat. Or a social experiment. Or the kitchen saying,'You don't want chow mein. You want chop suey. Accept your fate.'

Still ordering. Still eating. Still confused. Please release the chow mein from captivity. 🆓🍜
