We hate to spend more than an hour at any spot when we travel, but we loved this spot so much that we came back an hour later! Samantha is the nicest bartender & the vibes are on point. This place is a must visit if you're in montreal!
Awesome atmosphere, great service, & tremendous food with a solid beer selection. The pub has charming old Irish décor, & you can tell it has a loyal following lots of repeat customers that really add to the warm, local vibe. They also have fantastic live music on weekends.
There's a huge yet cozy upstairs space that's perfect if you're going with a group of 10 or more. While the beers are good, Montreal has so many incredible breweries that they're not quite at that level …some felt slightly watered down. That said, we ordered three starters & all of them were excellent, especially the chicken wings tossed in their special spicy sauce.
Definitely a must-visit spot if you're downtown.

Still going strong! It's been about 15 years since I visited & they still have some of the same good beers & a great vibe for meeting friends to chat over a few pints. The service was excellent, friendly & attentive. Definitely happy to see them holding their own with good craft beer.
Nice little spot to grab a drink & enjoy some pub food! Definitely recommend the poutine. The prices are reasonable & portions are generous. The drinks are definitely quite strong! The atmosphere is relaxed & chill, & overall just has great vibes.
Brutopia is a solid spot for a night out! They have cheap drinks, live music, & a friendly vibe thanks to the awesome staff. The food is decent - nothing extraordinary, but it does the job. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends & enjoy some live tunes without breaking the bank!
Went on a Sunday & the vibe was off to me. Service was nice & effective, but the patron energy was off. The open mic was alright. There were some good entertainers. Beers were OK. Prices were a bit steep at CAD$9 per beer.

Went there for lunch...the place is looks lil old from inside but the vibes are great. The atmosphere is really good. Our server was great as well. I am a vegetarian & ordered Pita with hummus & vegetarian burger & both were amazing. The vegetarian burger especially was delicious, one of the bests & is a good choice for vegetarians. Had Raspberry blonde which was amazing. Overall a wonderful experience here, would definitely recommend.
Great vibe. Big selection of beers, all which were great & not to expensive. I'm not a craft beer person but this place might make me one. Staff are extremely friendly. I recommend the raspberry beer above the rest. I've never had anything like it. It was smooth & tasted as much like a cream soda as it did a beer. It was delicious. The honey beer & the green beer were also great. Live music on weekends also. Bands are usually pretty good & keep the place pumped up. Will definitely be back & will probably be my new got to especially for beer.
