Reservation for a coffee shop is crazy, they lost 5 clients in the timeframe we were there just from that, what could be a cute local coffee shop is turned into a nepotistic expensive & cold place, If you are near it just go to comète beside it instead to have a cuter & more friendly experience.
Edit: I apologize if it wasn't clear enough the points I tried to make is, basically when you are trying to be a'local brunch spot' & you have a marketing that seems like a familiar little business but you're actually a franchise that is more & more inclined towards richer clients (ex: asking for reservations, putting prices as high as marketable & creating a high demand artificially with short oppening times & days unopened) it is pretty obvious that your goal is not to provide a cozy & relax experience to clients & build a local shop renowned for years in your neighborhood, the goal is quick optimised profits & the only problem in this is that you still try to come across as a little local business.
If you're goals are to create high end brunch service across town it is alright but you don't market it has that because you know that your business in this industry still lacks the edge of all others competitors wich is: Well developed original high end menus, Great interior design & atmosphere, high end experienced staff, Top quality rare ingredients, Renowned chefs etc..
So instead you are cutting corners with corner street local coffee shops looks, stealing clients from better local coffee shops with massive online traffic & boosting prices without providing the appropriate high end experience of real brunch places.
It is not a brunch spot it is a really expensive coffee shop selling some food items & growing more & more into a commercial franchise & loosing familiar & warm touch. Hope this is cleare

Je suis passée prendre un café & leur toast omelette. Je n'en revenais pas comme c'était bon, j'en rêve encore! Personnel très sympathique & de bonnes vibes. J'ai hâte de reveni
Small & cute café with a cozy vibe. The service was friendly. We had the omelet, poutine, & brioche sucrée - all were tasty. The portions were satisfying. I especially liked the cinnamon flavor in the brioche & the garlic in the omelet.
Definitely a nice spot to visit!
Excellent brunch à Brume Cantine ! Les plats étaient tout simplement délicieux & vraiment copieux. Le café est excellent ! Le service était également au top.

This place has a lovely coffee & a zen vibe! simply sit & chill. It's fun & cozy & the owner is so sweet & friendly!
for now they don't have gluten free options BUT it is in the process of !

Une superbe découverte à Montréal !
On a testé Brume Cantine & c'était une expérience vraiment délicieuse 😋.
Le sandwich à la salade de poulet était frais, bien assaisonné & plein de saveur, tandis que le sandwich au pain ciabatta avec l'épaule de boeuf mijoté à l'oignon était juste incroyable - tendre, savoureux & fondant en bouche 🤤.
L'ambiance est super chaleureuse, le service souriant & rapide, & tout est préparé avec des ingrédients de qualité.
Si vous cherchez un bon lunch à Montréal, un café brunch original, ou un endroit gourmand pour manger local, Brume Cantine est une adresse à ne pas manquer ! 🌿☕🥪
C'était tout simplement délicieux, on a pris un sandwich à l'effiloché de boeuf & un sandwich au poulet bacon cornichon c'était insane. C'était bien présenté, délicieux & bien servi !
On reviendra évidemment 😍
The quality of the espresso is amazing! Had an iced vanilla latte yesterday & was so happy with the taste. I found my new coffee spot in the neighbourhood. As someone who drinks so much coffee this is at the top of the list for me of top coffees i've had:)

A truly lovely little spot for third wave coffee in Montreal. The staff are always really friendly, the food is simple but high quality, & it's a little hidden away, which gives it its charm & character.
Scone, which I ate with my strong, but mild-end americano, was one the best, not very sweet, melted in my mouth.
Omelette was a kind I haven't tasted before; spicy, I think with a spicy oil, & delicious.
We sit outside in a shiny Sunday of fall.
