We are a local roastery based in the Atwater Market that specializes in roasting and importing high quality coffees. We stand out for the experience that our customers live through our coffees and our warm customer service. To serve better, we have recently developed an online ordering and delivery system.
Overall, reviews describe Brulerie Aux Quatre Vents as a place with excellent coffee and tasty options, often found in a market setting where it can get crowded yet feels lively. The coffee is praised for being well roasted and flavorful, with some highlighting a magical double espresso and an iced mocha that balances espresso and chocolate; a fresh chicken wrap is mentioned as a welcome accompaniment. The staff is generally seen as friendly and helpful, with a standout example of going the extra mile to grind a large amount of espresso, though a few notes mention uneven service and a desire for more attention from some newer staff. On the downside, some decaf and other preparations fall short, with takeout coffee described as burnt or smoky and some mentions of unclear bean origin or selection. Hygiene concerns are raised by a reviewer who suggests better beard coverage or headwear as a sign of respect for customers. In sum, Brulerie Aux Quatre Vents is viewed as a strong coffee destination with character and loyal patrons, tempered by occasional quality, consistency, and service issues.
This is one of my favorite cafes. The coffee is delicious, & though it's not in the photo, their fresh chicken wrap makes for a great meal. It can get crowded at times, but I think that's just part of the charm of a cafe located inside a market.

Awesome small roasters of coffee beans. They do it well! The double espresso I had was magical & the service was great as well! Please go & support this business! We need more businesses like this!!!
I just want to say a big thank you to the wonderful person who helped me with my coffee situation. I was looking for someone to grind a large amount of espresso coffee, & she simply said,'Bring me the coffee, tell me what you want.' So kind, so helpful, & no hesitation. Because of her, everything worked out perfectly. People like her make a big difference. Merci & adios - you're the best!
I've been here before but it's the first time we got a flat white that tasted acidic & burnt 🔥. I brought my partner from New Zealand here & I was confident this place could make a proper flat white. I was embarrassed I brought him here. The saving grace was the maple tartlet was delicious.
