Ordered an oxtail plate with Jamaican beef patties via Uber Eats.

Oxtail plate serving size was larger than expected, enough for two to split. I would give the flavors an 8 out of 10. Leaned more salt flavor than the typical traditional oxtail flavors I expected. However, I enjoyed it & would order it again. The oxtails were tender, the rice was well seasoned, the cabbage was tasty, & the macaroni pie was flavorful, which made for a lovely meal.

The Jamaican beef patties were okay, the meat filling also wasn't the traditional flavor profile or consistency that I've come to love about Jamaican beef patties, but I still enjoyed them. I wouldn't order them from here again & would probably rate them a 7 out of 10.

There aren't too many options for Jamaican takeout near me, so this will do the job. I WOULD order from them again & also check out a few of the bagels they offer as well.

OK, so I'm used to not getting poppy seed bagels warm, so I wasn't surprised they were already in a plastic bag. The shock came later, when I opened the bag to discover the horror of grocery store/Tim Hortons style industrial bagels, clearly not made in the traditional manner on site. Just awful. The sesame seed ones made on site are fine, but you still need to cross the bridge for proper poppy seed ones. Had they told me I wouldn't have bought them.

Brossard Bagel has the marks of a neighbourhood gem of local repute. I had a late breakfast here with the breakfast bagel - I was amazed at the fluffiness of the egg. The price was more than fair too. They have a small seating area which is sufficient to eat in. Although it's not purposed to work, I had some time to kill before I could hit the nearby gym since my food had to settle so I got my laptop from my car to get some work done as they had free wifi. I probably stayed much longer than most clients do but they were totally chill about it. I wasn't intending to buy anything else but I was grateful so I ended up taking some more bagels & a cream cheese on my way out. Which I'm glad I did because the bagels are pretty great.
