The server was dressed up for halloween & even gave us some candy! Wonderful way to spend the evening & enjoy some fresh & delicious seafood.

Belle attention, nous étions les seuls sur la terrasse, ils ont pris la peine d'allumer les lumières d'ambiance. Le fish & chips était excellent. Ils ont des importations qui apportent du nouveau à l'expérience.
The fish tastes bland without the tartare sauce. The tartare sauce is not made in-house. It comes in a small condiments package, didn't have enough. I ordered coleslaw, & it tastes very vinegar, again, not made in-house. Taste like those you find in a big jar at the supermarket. Very disappointing!

Sommes allés profiter des belles journées qu'il nous reste de soleil & avons pris fish & chips & une pinte ou trois de bière fraîche ce mardi. Service souriant & impeccable, & le poisson frit surclasse bien d'autres endroits. Facture un peu salée surtout sur le prix de la pinte, & je ne suis pas certain que j'aurais aimé manger à l'intérieur considérant l'étroitesse des lieux, mais pour la bonne bouffe, la bière & une ambiance relaxe sur la terrasse, c'est sûr qu'on va se revoir.
Fish & chip is one of my personnal favorite meal, & Brit & Chips definitly make the best in town! You have to try the maple syrup haddock, it doesn't taste sweet, but it has a very rich flavor! I also recommend the popcorn tandoori shrimps as a starter, absolutly delicious ! Over the summer they have a very cute terrace a few steps away from the heart of the Old Port. As for dessert, their deep fried oreos & apple doughnut are to die for !
Fish was good, portion size is large, or at least I didn't get to finish my plate. Scott eggs & the dip/sauce it came on the side was delicious, even had some IRN Bru that I miss since my last visit in the UK. The staff is nice & the atmosphere is cute, but limited space, I'd recommend going if you're less than 4.

We used to love their fish cakes. My friend & I would stop here each trip to Montreal every few months for lunch - mainly for the fish cakes. Haven't been here since last summer & was just there last week. & what a letdown! The fish cakes are no longer a draw :( The crust is now too salty & the fish/potato/cheese mixture inside isn't as tasty. If you're reading this Brit & Chips manager, please make them like you used to.

Fantastic. Best fish & chips ever. Hope I'm not being unfair, but between among all I've had so far in GTA, this is way better. Fresh sauce & amazingly tasteful; chips are crispy & didn't have that breaded thing that many restaurants use in Ontario; fish was juicy & perfectly fried. Not a food critic, just like good stuff.
Fish & chips were good. "Pickled cucumber" Was not pickled at all & very bland/ tasted like just seasame oil, no salt, no acid very boring. Scotch eggs were also somehow bland? Food was ok overall but not great. Service was good.
Service très rapide & bon fish & chips. Menu simple, mais pas besoin de plus. Quelques choix de boissons gazeuses importés du Royaume-Uni. Intéressant à essayer! Par contre, il n'y a pas beaucoup de place à l'intérieur. Un peu serrés.
