One of my favourite restaurants in the city! Nestled just outside the business of downtown Montreal in the corner of Outremont is this gem of a restaurant (parking is certainly more accessible than going downtown! ) The ambiance is beautiful & the service is friendly, professional & efficient. As a huge fan of seafood I've indulged in some of the most appreciated dishes I have come by: seabass, salmon, oysters & in true brasserie style, their delicious fish & chips (& considering the Mile End has several incredible seafood spots this is saying alot!) As a professional cheesemonger I must also mention their cheese selection is nice. Local cheeses from Quebec & usually an offering of a variety of milks; I was proud to see Hercule from Laiterie Charlevoix (cow milk) & as well as Pave de L'Atelier (one of the artisanal goat cheese makers in St Elizabeth de Warwick) Long story short, indulge at this amazing restaurant!View more
via LibroPieuvre & moules étaient excellentes. On nous a laissé tout le temps qu'on voulait après le plat principal. Le vin conseillé était très bien. Tout le monde est bien gentil en plus !

via LibroThere was a small mix up with my order (I had asked for a medium-rare steak with no sauce & instead received a medium-well to well done one with sauce). The waiters were very kind, apologized profusely & quickly got the correct dish done. Very much appreciated:)

via LibroOur waitress was great. I'd like to add that there was a shift change in the wait staff, the second server was not as attentive. The oysters were delicious. However I was disappointed in the food as well as a bit in the service ... one dish arrived cold & I returned it to be heated, which took a very long time - so long that by the time it returned, my other food was cold. I'm not used to this at Brasserie B.
