Brasserie Bernard est un restaurant animé & débordant de vie, mais l'attente pour la nourriture n'a pas été excessivement longue. Le personnel était serviable & aimable. Les huîtres étaient délicieuses, en fait, tout ce que nous avons commandé était excellent !
One of the best meals I have had in Montreal. The food was amazing from beginning to end. We started off with the octopus & the oysters. The oysters were so fresh & the octopus was cooked to perfection ; Accompanying the octopus with the olives & tomatoes was very complementary. I had the halibut special & my partner had the hanger steak . It came with mashed potatoes, which were the most delicious we have ever had. The halibut was so flavorful. The portions were perfect, although I wish they were bigger only because I just did not want to end... We ate every morsel on our plate. The service was OK though... Extremely slow & our waiter disappeared for so long. We did not get our drinks until close to the end of our meal... That was disappointing. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place & when I am back in Montreal, I will be coming here again .
J'ai connu la brasserie au temps où au brunch on te servait un petit pain au citron ou bleut à partager pendant l'attente des plats. Les oeufs bénédictines au saumon à peine rassasiant pour 24$, qui est quand même le déjeuner le plus populaire au QC (ou ses variantes) Quand le dessert doit combler la faim & non un plaisir c'est compliqué. Le plat était délicieux mais honnêtement les portions sont loin d'être satisfaisante. La pandémie, les coûts des matières premières ont augmenté mais les prix au consommateur aussi qui essaie de s'offrir des petits plaisirs. Bel endroit que j'ai découvert depuis 2017 mais je ne reviendrai plus pour le brunch
Everything was very good but the portions are smaller! I ordered the mussels & fries, less mussels & fewer fries!!! &, at a higher price! A little disappointing. If we increase the price of food I understand, but the portion should not change!!

Comme toujours excellent service & ambiance. Petite réserve sur le poulet dans la salade césar aui poulet. Première fois que je vois du pooulet pressé dans ce genre de salade & particulièrement à la Brasserie Bernard.
J'adore aller à la Brasserie Bernard. Le tartare de saumon classique est mon préféré. Sinon nous aimons beaucoup les raviolis de veau, les calmars frits & la mousse de foies de volaille. Un incontournable!
Pour ma part, c'était ma 1ère expérience à votre Brasserie! Malheureusement, le plat du jour (salade niçoise) n'était pas à la hauteur des attentes de ma copine. Le thon qui devait être torcher au chalumeau ne semblait pas l'être & il était extrêmement salé voir beaucoup trop prononcé ...elle a donc mis le tout de côté car impossible à manger! Vraiment désolant & aucune proposition de la serveuse pour corriger la situation! Elle n'est même pas revenu nous voir pour nous apportez la facture!?! Nous avons dû demander à un autre membre du personnel. Très ordinaire comme service! 😏
