Our travel group wanted to have a fine lunch while our ship was docked at Montreal. I had read about Brasserie 701 in my guidebook & in excellent reviews online. We all ordered variations of the fixed lunch menu & all were very pleased with the selections which included, mussels, mushroom gnocchi (no lamb available), fries, appetizer salad & creme brulee. The environment was amazing, & the quality of the food was excellent. We ordered the salmon & steak - both were incredibly tender with a perfectly balanced taste. The sauce for the salmon was absolutely heavenly.
I also tried the Coco Fraise mocktail, which was delicious; the coconut flavor was very pronounced, & I really loved it.
We were celebrating our anniversary, & for dessert, we ordered a crème brûlée, which the restaurant kindly offered on the house. It made our experience even more special.
