Brass Door Pub comes across in reviews as a welcoming, lively yet cozy spot with a solid pub vibe, consistently good food and drinks, and warm hospitality. The wings are a frequent standout with generous portions and a range of styles, and midweek wing deals are a recurring highlight. The drinks program is praised for quality craft cocktails and a strong beer selection, with several mentions of attentive and friendly service and recommendations. The atmosphere attracts locals, visitors, and comedy show crowds, creating a sociable, upbeat environment that still feels like a neighborhood hangout. Service is a clear strength, though a few notes mention slower pacing during busy periods or occasional supply gaps. Pricing is described as reasonable and the overall experience as dependable for a night out, a casual bite, or a comedy showing, with many reviewers calling it a top go-to for wings, drinks, and good vibes, complemented by friendly staff and a welcoming crowd.
Jeff the bartender was AMAZING. He was attentive, had stormy eyes I could get lost in, & overall was a great person also had amazing still riding a motorcycle. 10/10 would recommend.
Hello, we had a good time at Brass Door Pub. Especially because Ed was there with his good sense of humour & his recommandations concerning not only the beer but also spots we should look at in Montreal.
Thank God for Kosta & guy who took my phone call….one of the bartenders did not like that we are from the states….he tried to argue with me about Atlanta being popular for chicken wings (he said'uhh wrong, it's Buffalo NY').& then proceeded to bring up politics & literally yelled at my 60 year old mother bc he's unhappy about trumps tariffs. He also went on about the free healthcare system being so wonderful so then called people from the United States illiterate…..yikes it was scary

I used to come here a few years ago & it's a great little pub. The best wings, cool vibe & attentive staff. Ed is a star; never forgets a face/drink combo & knows how to keep you coming back. A must in Montreal.
The vibes were terrific & the wings were divine. Not a huge selection of beers but the housemade jerk wings were phenomenal & the staff was super friendly.

Great ambiance, delicious food, & the comedy night was a blast! Unfortunately, the experience was dampened by water dripping from the ceiling pipes onto our bench, & in the women's bathroom the leak was right above the toilet, leaving water all over the floor. I guess the show must go on!
