Review Summary

Reviews describe Bouza as a standout ice cream spot in Montreal, with favorites like ashta, pistachio, baklava, halva, kunafa and chocolate, praised for rich, authentic flavors, creamy textures and a fresh, not overly sweet profile. Many shoppers appreciate the wide variety and generous scoops, along with the option to sample flavors before choosing. The service is consistently described as friendly and attentive, and the space is noted for being clean, cozy and welcoming, sometimes with outdoor seating and a bright, brand new feel. The place is sometimes described as a hidden gem and a must visit for ice cream lovers, with several mentions of it being worth the drive, and the presence of a wide range of options that aren’t overly sweet. A few comments reference higher prices but most agree the quality, portions and flavor complexity justify it. Overall, Bouza is perceived as a top Montreal destination for authentic, high quality ice cream with generous portions, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

Bouza Carrefour Laval was really nice! We tried the ashta pistachio & the one with baklava pieces-both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich & authentic, & everything tasted very fresh. Highly recommended, especially if you love Middle Eastern desserts.

A must-visit for real ice cream lovers! I ordered two scoops-pistachio & chocolate-& both were incredibly rich, creamy, & full of flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portion was so generous, I was honestly surprised-in the best way! What made it even sweeter was the lovely lady at the counter who asked if I wanted nuts on top. Such a kind gesture & amazing service. This place has my heart (& sweet tooth)!

I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic Syrian & Turkish sweets. The variety & quality are outstanding, & the presentation of the sweets is truly impressive. The owner is incredibly generous-she welcomed us with about 10 different ice cream samples, allowing us to choose the flavors we liked best. It's a warm, inviting place with delicious treats, & I'm confident anyone who visits will not regret it. Definitely worth a try!

Who has the best Ashta bouza in town? We can easily call it Bouza Boutique, the style, taste, collection of the homeland if you live in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Palestine, authentic mistaka is in the flavor & if you see the ice cream stretch while you take a bite then you are having the original taste of home. You get a 5 stars from me & can't wait to return to Montreal to have more of what we miss in BC.
