About

Bouza specializes in artisanal ice cream and Middle Eastern confectionery, focusing on traditional techniques to craft dense, stretchy textures. The menu highlights regional flavors such as mastic, sahlab, and premium pistachio, which define its authentic culinary identity. Every batch emphasizes high-quality ingredients sourced to maintain a distinct profile that balances sweetness with rich dairy foundations. Cold dessert preparation involves meticulous cooling methods to ensure the signature consistency remains firm yet smooth upon serving. Patrons encounter a specialized array of sweets featuring honey, aromatic nuts, and floral essences that reflect classic confectionery traditions. This establishment serves as a dedicated destination for those seeking genuine frozen treats and meticulously prepared desserts that deviate from standard commercial offerings by prioritizing technical precision and flavor intensity in every scoop.

The six scoops of pistachio ice cream were the highlight of my night after the Orioles game. I am just as sweet & definitely more interesting than dessert, so if you are a guy who keeps it fun & effortless, I am open to a conversation with you.

I first came across Bouzo through a reel showcasing how the gelato is made, the craftsmanship & authenticity on display immediately caught my attention. As someone travelling from Mississauga, Ontario, I knew a visit to Montreal wouldn't be complete without stopping in, & I'm so glad I made it a priority.

The pistachio gelato is, without question, the standout of the entire menu. Rich, aromatic, & made with what tastes like real, high-quality pistachios, it's the kind of flavour that reminds you what ice cream is supposed to taste like. I sampled several other flavours as well, & each one held its own, but the pistachio is in a league of its own.

Bouzo clearly takes pride in its craft, & it shows in every scoop. If you're even remotely nearby, this place is worth going out of your way for.

Friendly service & great Mediterranean-inspired ice cream. We tried two flavours - rose & coconut, both topped with pistachio - & both were rich & delicious. Will definitely be back to try more.

Bouza Carrefour Laval was really nice! We tried the ashta pistachio & the one with baklava pieces-both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich & authentic, & everything tasted very fresh. Highly recommended, especially if you love Middle Eastern desserts.

Nice staff, good ice cream, a bit pricey.

The place is hidden on the side of the plaza, but trust in Google Maps & it'll get you there.

Tried the'Bouza with Madlouka' & it was very good. It is ashta ice cream topped with a layer of madlouka dough (sweet pistachio dough). It has just the right amount of sweetness to it.

The ice cream is expensive ($20/500g), but the dish I tried will get me to come back & try another specialty of theirs.

I enjoyed it.

A must-visit for real ice cream lovers! I ordered two scoops-pistachio & chocolate-& both were incredibly rich, creamy, & full of flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portion was so generous, I was honestly surprised-in the best way! What made it even sweeter was the lovely lady at the counter who asked if I wanted nuts on top. Such a kind gesture & amazing service. This place has my heart (& sweet tooth)!

Delicious ice cream, friendly & generous staff! They insisted I try every flavour while I was waiting for the group infront of me to order.

I ended up getting a baklava icecream sandwhich & it was 10/10.

Served us a pistachio coated icecream with cotton candy as a treat for the table which was also amazing.

I would say this is the tastiest ice cream shop in Ontario & Quebec who services sorbet flavours, & I tried a lot! My most favourite is the Ashta with pistachio, the flavours are rich & we will definitely visit them again.

This syrian ice cream is out of this world! I shared a large with my husband & we quickly regretted it & wanted to come back for more, but it was late & we had already left. It's probably the best of its kind that I've had in years, even compared to the middle east. You can really taste the flavour of the "ashta" (cream) - rich & pure, flavoured with some mastic & pistachios... it was insanely good! I can't wait to have it again! I can't comment on the atmosphere because it was late winter evening on a Sunday, but I reckon they'd have a nice vibe in the summer. Service was lovely, the lady & her son were very welcoming, accommodating, & generous. Can't wait to go back! Probably tonight :)
