This place deserves that extra star... the products are very high quality & always a certain shot when you are looking for something special. Service is impeccable & the butchers are very knowledgeable. The sandwiches are also something else, definitely recommend paying them a visit.
Wagyu grilled cheese was so bomb. Came with a side of crispy homefried potato chips, & all kinds of fun pickled things. I had no idea what they were but they all tasted great. The store had a refreshing light beer that they crafted called Verdun Beach & it was a great accompaniment as a summer brew. The staff were so friendly too & the store full of high quality delicious goods.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a 5 à 7 at Verdun Beef, & it was nothing short of exceptional. The food is of the highest quality, with everything freshly made in-house. We indulged in the CLUB DE LA PLAGE, served on a deliriously good homemade brioche bread, & the GRILLED CHEESE WAGYU, which was absolutely to die for. The PLATEAU DU BOUCHER also stood out with its amazing selection of meats. The ambience at Verdun Beef is spectacular. You order at the counter, & the atmosphere is calm & inviting, perfect for savoring both your delicious food & wine. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed. Yann, in particular, was incredibly kind, taking the time to explain the enriched charcuteries with passion & knowledge. Verdun Beef is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable evening with exceptional food & a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Le grilled cheese Wagyu est tout simplement decadent 🤤 le service est bon , les installations sont magnifiques! Décidément un endroit à revenir . La qualité des viandes vendues sur place est superbe aussi

New in Verdun- a Great addition. Place is friendly, clean & well garnished. Small quality meat counter, very clean & well stocked with all you need to make a great home meal-wine, veggies, & spices. My partner & I tried their wagu melted cheese sandwich, & we were not disappointed. Sandwich was tasty & delicious. The place has tables inside & a cute terrace on Wellington. The inside is spacious & can accommodate a crowd. Service was friendly & staff is open to getting you what you need, in case they don't have it at hand. Overall, our experience with this place was great. We are sure to go back for more tasty treats & for our meat needs.
Le Verdun Beef, est en soit une belle petite boucherie, charcuterie qui vous offre aussi de délicieux sandwichs & une gamme limité d'excellents vins pour accompagner vos viandes. Ainsi que d'autres produits maison. Le personnel est très sympathique & professionnel. Les viandes sont d'excellentes qualités. C'est toujours ce que l'on recherche dans une boucherie de quartier. La déco vieillotte m'a surpris, mois c'est ça qui fait son charme. J'y suis passé aujourd'hui & il tenait un stand de BBQ ......au menu ; Burger WAGYU & chips maison & limonade hibiscus............merveilleux, délicieux.

Il faudra tenir compte de l'hygiène lorsqu'on manipule avec ses mains de la viande. J'ai vu la personne sortir son téléphone de sa poche pendant qu'il coupait le jambon & reprendre des morceaux de jambon qui était tombé sur le comptoir & le remettre dans la portion déjà coupé...
J'ai cuisiné la meilleure langue de boeuf de ma vie, achetée bien évidemment au Verdun Beef. J'en ai cuisiné souvent ( Cook professionnelle pendant des années ici). Tendre mais ferme. Grasse sans être écoeurante. Hâte d'essayer la joue de porc achetée en même temps. Dîner sur place avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Parfait quand on a un petit creux & qu'on a aussi envie de boire un petit verre de vin ou une bière. Plein de beau produit locaux & artisanaux. Super service. Je recommande chaudement cet endroit. Seul bémol, je suis à Repentigny. C'est beaucoup trop loin. Bou.
Absolutely delicious sausages & steaks!!!!!! Also got two Wagu steaks for 15$..cant beat that. Super elegant/clean place with friendly customer service. Smells so good when you walk in. Definitely going back to try everything else !!!!
What all shops on Wellington should aspire to. Excellent service, drop dead gorgeous place haha. So charming, elegant, clean. Of course the most important thing is the beef! We tried the bacon & steaks, both were delicious. Looking forward to trying more. Keep it up!
