At Boucherie Verdun Beef, reviews describe a stylish neighborhood butcher and cafe where the meat quality and products are consistently praised, with generous, delicious options across charcuterie, sandwiches on focaccia, and well prepared hot dishes such as chicken soup, a wagyu grilled cheese, and a variety of marinated meats; the Valentine’s box is highlighted as a delicious, generous treat, and diners appreciate helpful, friendly service that explains menu options and guides choices, including tasting broths and portions that can be ordered to go for sharing; the shop atmosphere is warm and convivial, with a dog friendly outdoor seating option, a broad selection of prepared items and home goods, and a focus on local, high quality ingredients, though a few reviewers note hygiene concerns in the butcher section and a slim range that makes decisions easy rather than overwhelming; overall the sentiment is that Verdun Beef delivers consistent, satisfying experiences worth returning for, whether stocking up on meat and charcuterie or enjoying a casual lunch or dinner.
Après un léger incident avec un sandwich, le personnel a corrigé la situation avec brio, excuses & plus. Un niveau supérieur de service à la clientèle. Merci à l équipe.
I went here for lunch in their Casse-Croute & it was great. The place is very meat focused, of course, as it is a butcher & I do not eat a lot of red meat, but I had the Chicken Club & it was great. They serve it on focaccia bread which gave it a unique taste, which I really enjoyed. Those in the group who had the beef were also very pleased, just not for your vegetarian friends.
They also have a full service butcher counter & everything looked excellent. A great local butcher to support for when the need arises.

I love Verdun Beef (& Verdun Beach, although, that's for another review) ! They have a great variety of cold cuts, imported & local foods, meat & meat products. Their sandwiches are amazing & come with a side of pickles & homemade chips (I particularly loved the St Brigid's that I believe has been removed from the menu, but you can buy the white ham there & make it at home). They also sell the focaccia (flavours are on a rotating basis) they use for their sandwiches as well as broth & soup, which are simply heavenly.
