I've only tried the lamb merguez, & although it was fresh, it wasn't a hit for me: too much cinnamon. I gotta say that putting cinnamon in merguez instead of the regular harissa & herbs is already not really a merguez in my mind. I guess it takes it to a more Morrocan than Algerian flavor profile. So, I will not buy those again. But still happy to have that butcher around for the rest of the stuff...
We ordered their'boîte de l'amour' for Valentines Day. What a wonderful idea. The food was delicious & plentiful. Will certainly look into their other food - I can't say enough about it.

Le boucher m'a dit que'interieur de ronde' est similaire a la'bavette'. & j'ai suivie ses suggestions pour la cuisson & le resultat etai horrible. Sans compter les prix plus chère que ailleur. Je voulai essayer la marchandise local de verdun mais j'ai été dessu. Do better !!
Do yourself a favour & get yourself a charcuterie platter from them. While you are at it go up to olive branch get some olives & the goat feta. Now you are set.

My partner & i sick with colds, i went out in search of chicken soup. When i stopped at Verdun Beef, they explained their soup options, & let me taste the clear broth. The broth was deep & complex, but wanting something a little more hearty, i ordered the full chicken soup. The person serving me explained that portions are small-ish, so i ordered 3 soups to go for the two of us. Those & a baguette cost about $25 with tip.
It was memorable! So rich with flavours without being salty. There was a good balance of grain, vegetables, & broth. It was exactly what i wanted. I will be back for more, & to have a hot cup of broth as well.
I shouldn't be surprised, as everything I've had at Verdun Beef was good, but i am so satisfied by my bowl of soup that here i am texting friends about it & singing its praises to online strangers.
Outstanding & genial. They are the best! The quality of meat & products, as well as the service!! From Matisse, Julienne, Nick, Charles, Philippe & Yan to name a few. We feel like family & every meal is parfait. Mille merci.

Les sandwiches & frites étaient délicieux ! La viande était excellente

& mention spéciale au personnel qui était super agréable !
Great experience. Staff are very friendly & helpful. They have a slim range so not too overwhelming with choice. Prices are ok but the quality is high. I ordered the lamb on sticks, cured salmon, & lamb sausage (merguez) each was very tasty, fresh & well procured. Highly recommend this shop for limited butcher needs.
Nous mangeons peu de viande. & le peu que nous mangeons nous apprécions de bonne qualité & locale. Cette boucherie est le summum. Les prix sont raisonnables pour une qualité aussi élevée. L'équipe semble réellement passionnée. Le service est impeccable. Le genre de petit commerce qu'il fait plaisir de soutenir dans un monde où la qualité semble être une valeur oubliée.
Un joyau tant pour leur viande que leur charcuterie. La porchetta de tête est un vrai délice.
Wonderful service, food & ambiance. We sat at the outdoor picnic tables under large umbrellas to hide from the hot sun. I gotta say that the fries, porchetta sandwich & club sandwich were amazing on the focaccia bread.
The waitress was so sweet to my dog & brought him dog treats which my dog greedily gobbled.
I didn't take pictures of my food but snapped an image of the menu. A big selection of chips, conserves & raw meat for the home. I'll be back to try the celery root terrine! The drinks looked lovely too.
