At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
Reviews about BOSSA Prêt à manger show a strong appreciation for big, flavorful Italian style sandwiches, with crowd favorites like porchetta, Milanese, steak pepperoni and diavolo noted for generous portions and fresh ingredients. However, consistency is a recurring issue, as some visits deliver excellent bread and toppings while others have bread that is stale, fillings that are sparse or sandwiches that arrive cold. Service quality is mixed as well, with many praising friendly, efficient counter staff but some reports of rude interactions or slow responsiveness during busy periods. Rush hour dynamics and the prioritization of Uber and DoorDash orders can lead to longer waits for customers ordering in person. A common health note requests avoiding canola oil in salads and switching to olive oil. Overall BOSSA Prêt à manger remains a standout for satisfying, generous sandwiches in Montreal, but visitors should brace for variability and occasional waits.
Woww.. I think this bossa might be better than the one in Verdun. There are also more seating options from what I remember. I took the chicken cutlet. The bread was fresh, both soft inside & crispy outside. The chicken cutlet was still crispy, the Verdun location when I get this sandwich the chicken is never crispy. My partner got the porchetta sandwich, & the porchetta was perfect- slightly on the sweet side with hints of apple (always good in pork), & absolutely melted in your mouth. I was so impressed. For the price, you get a lot of food & could easily save the second half of your sandwich for later - but it's so good, I don't know if you'll want to!

J'ai gouté au poulet 2.0 & je n'ai pas été déçue. Les saveurs étaient bien balancées bien que la prochaine fois, je prendrai un extra piments forts. Le service est malheureusement un peu trop long à l'heure de pointe le midi.
Very standard sandwich! Service is slow... Place is small & packed with people... hard to know if people are waiting to order or for their order. Anyway it's a mess in there. Just a cheap standard sandwich. Pretty much disappointed!!!
Excellent service au Bossa 26 juin vers 13h45. J'ai été servie par une dame au cheveux bruns avec un tattoo de fleur sur l'avant-bras droit. Extrêmement sympathique!!!
The sandwiches & desserts are absolutely delicious however I can't say anything good about the girl taking the order at the cash on Tuesday around 6 pm. She looked so sombre. She served us without even saying hello & no smile whatsoever just that threw me off. I'm not sure if that makes me want to go back to this location.
Tout est toujours délicieux chez Bossa : sandwichs, pâtes, salades & desserts. Leur sélection de produits italiens est très chouette aussi! Le service est bon.

The food is always excellent, but the service is inconsistent. I watched my sandwich stay on the pick-up kitchen window for 15 minutes while three employees chatted behind the counter. The kitchen employees ran the bell four separate times. There were three customers in the restaurant, including me.
Quick service & delicious sandwiches! I do think theybneed to lower their air-conditioner a little bit, it was absolutely freezing in the store. I understand some people might like that, but we were 3 people with different temperature tolerances & we were all freezing. Regardless, the food is great! The sandwiches are tasty. A bit on the expensive side, but it makes sense because of the quality of the ingredients.
Staple sandwich shop at the heart of the Masson street. I have doordashed from this place several times & it never disappoints. Delicious sandwiches. The philly & the diavolo are out of this world. The chicken parm & porchetta are amazing. A must try in Montreal.
