I came in at 10pm in search of vegan food & I had a great time here. Best part was having well-prepared vegetarian'meat' on the menu, something I can never get in most Indian restaurants. I'm also particularly happy to support a meatless restaurant. Vegans: if you like spicy food, try the Malai Soy Chaap, the soy chunks are charred in the tandoor on a bed of vegetables & served on a hot cast iron pan. You have to drizzle it with the lemon & green spicy sauce to make it juicy. You can have it alone or with rice. Also the Daal Makhani can be made vegan here (most places make it with butter). I don't think I've ever left a review for anything but this place more than surpassed my expectations. I have a huge finaI due tomorrow so I ordered a thali to save time on cooking & my god. This place is a GEM.
The curries are delicious, you don't pick them but I got two chana/chickpea based ones & one that I can't quite place (maybe a tofu version of butter chicken?) which was a little too sweet for me but still delicious. It comes with the usual sides which were are all great, the veg('salad') portion was PERFECT & a piece of gulab jamun which was so so tender (almost melty) & perfectly sweet, the syrup is my favorite I've ever tried from a restaurant.
If you weren't sure whether to try this place or not, please do. I can't wait to try out their street food bar, hopefully in person next time :)View more
Very tasty food ! I went there with my wife & a friend, it was our first time so we ordered several plates to taste & everything was very good ! We ordered medium spicy & it was OK for me who is not a spicy guy ! Waiter was very helpful but there is a more detailed description of each plate on their web site. Prices are very reasonnable. I recommand this restaurant for a taste of India in Montreal ! Location is 2 mn walk from Cote-vertu metro station.View more

The food is delicious, it became our comfort restaurant to me & my flatmate. It's really great to have a full vegetarian menu, my flatmate can get whatever he wants without issue.
The staff is really nice & welcoming. We're not used to Indian food & they helped us choose the first time we went there.
