Love the rustic vibe of this place. I went with a friend, & I've been here before & really enjoyed the experience. We both ordered the beef ragout & the fried chicken with garlic sauce both were delicious & really hit the spot on a cold day. The fried chicken was a bit pricey for a 10-piece order, but overall the food was great & the service was fairly fast. I'd definitely go back, & I've heard good things about their katsu too.

If you're craving Korean food in Montreal, Bol Orange is an absolute must-visit. I recently had the chance to dine here, & I was blown away by both the flavors & the authenticity of the dishes. From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere & the friendly service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

We decided to order a few of our favorites to share, & let me tell you - every single bite was worth savoring. First up was the Korean Fried Chicken, & it was everything you'd hope for - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, & coated with just the right amount of sweet & spicy sauce. It was addictive in the best possible way.

Next, we had the Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes). This dish is a staple in Korean cuisine, & Bol Orange did not disappoint. The chewy rice cakes were swimming in a rich, spicy, slightly sweet sauce that had a satisfying kick. It wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, but it definitely had a nice heat that kept you coming back for more.

Finally, we had the Kimchi Stew with Pork - a hearty, flavorful bowl of comfort. The pork was tender & infused with the flavors of the kimchi broth, which had just the right balance of sourness & spice. The tofu & vegetables added extra texture & depth, making every spoonful a treat.

We were so impressed that we finished everything - no leftovers in sight! Every dish felt authentically Korean & thoughtfully prepared. It's rare to find a place outside of Korea that gets the flavors & textures so right, but Bol Orange manages to do it with flair.

If you're looking for a spot in Montreal where you can enjoy a true taste of Korea - from crispy fried chicken to satisfying stews - I can't recommend Bol Orange enough. Just be sure to come hungry, because you'll want to try everything on the menu.

Great family owned place, been going for years & the food has always been a comfort to the soul. My favorite will always been the fried chicken bites with scallions!

I've been here for a while. They took out a few items in the menu. The one that I miss is the bossam. Fried chickens are less great than before. The soft tofu soup was ok. The Kalbi was good, but the salad that comes with had too much sauce. Seafood pancakes would be better if it was crispier. The owner is very nice & welcoming every time. He works alone with his wife. Service can take a bit of time. Price is affordable.

Hired more staff & food is still solid. Service is fast & efficient. Prices are still reasonable if you compared to other Koreans restaurants.

Update april 24 2023

They finally hired a new good staff. It was a full house at 6 pm Saterday. Prices went up again but so did service snd quality.

Wings 10/10
Bi bim bap 10/10 i like to to have a little more crust at the bottom of the bowl but it is a personal choice
Ramen noodles 9/10 good broth & flavor

----
Very good fried chicken. Not many places offer wings, most offer half or whole chicken. Bi bim bap was very good. The noodles & kim chi were ok. The is the only place in Montréal/ Toronto that has pork bone soup, bi bim bap & fried chicken. Very good prices. The food is timed & comes out at the same time (most of the time)
