I walked in here to have lunch randomly, I was pleasantly surprised with how cute the interior was, but better yet, the food was so delicious. I had fantastic service as well, & let the server know about my gluten intolerance & she was very helpful guiding me in what to eat & also had great recommendations. My lunch was so tasty! Highly recommend.
I really love Bocadillo, I've been loving it since before they changed locations. The sandwiches are super good & filling & feel very authentic, the sauces are also good, meat is very well cooked in my opinion, the plantains are to die for, I think everyone should try & Arepa from Bocadillo.
If there is one thing i would like to say tho is that it is very expensive, yesterday i got just the sandwich, it was 18 dollars before tax & tip & with tax & tip about 23-24. if you want a combo its about 25 WITHOUT tax & tip.
Don't get me wrong the sandwich is very delicious & is quite filling, but I think the price is too much for what we are getting. The thing is i think i would come back here way more often if it was less expensive. For students, this is unaffordable, for others, it is just overpriced.
I spent 40 dollars on a very mid arepa & one very small appetizer that was basically 4 mini cheesy breads. They said they would give me 4 different types of fillings but I think they messed up the order. It had one chocolate filled one, I didn't finish it cause it was so tasteless. Sadly, I won't be coming back because the food wasn't worth the cost. I gave this place a shot cause Aprepera was closed :( I did take out so no comment about atmosphere.
They just moved to a new location & it's not well identified yet. Just a few doors down from the original location. Had an arepa for then first time. Delicious!! The server was very helpful for the first timer that I was. Will go back!

La nourriture est excellent,c'est super delicieux,je conseille fortement cette endroit,la place est beau avec beaucoup de variete de nourritures,le service étais bien aussi.

The place has changed location! The new place is awesome! more space & same tasty food! I highly recommend their cheese empanadas ! if you're up for a comfort food with sort of new classy ambiance, it's the place to go.
J'adore sa nourriture. Mais... Le samedi 25 janvier 2025 vers 17h30. J'étais là avec ma famille & malheureusement je trouve le restaurant sale , mauvais odeurs. En plus au fond il y avait une madame entrain de changer la couche à son enfant en plen restaurant . Vraiment mauvais expérience pour nous & pour un autre couple qu'était là. C'est vraiment différant un resto décontractée au un placé négligent. Vraiment déçu.
Tried the Arepa Pabellon, the platain sadly was not sweet & the avocado has a mushy texture. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy it as expected. Yuca was absolutely delicious & the green sauce super good!
I had La Llanera with potato fries. The tender, fatty, flavourful beef & homemade cheese paired so well with the fresh avocado & tomato in the corn bread were delicious. I highly recommend trying. The fries we ordered were a little small for the basket, but the basket was quite large, & I thought that was still good value. Service was personable, friendly & attentive. Atmosphere was missing a certain something in my opinion, but no real complaints. This would be my go-to lunch place every week if the it wasn't 18$ per small-medium hamburger sized portion.
