Hands down a winner- will return! Lovingly prepared, authentic & fresh, proudly served Portuguese delights. A modern appearance with a neighbourhood feeling. Delicious tapa, excellent wine well matched to the fare, & attentive service. Friendly chef, knowledgeable staff, & welcoming clientele. Affordable & easy to get a table. Convenient in Le Plateau. Everyone welcome- families, people of every background who enjoy fantastic food & easy camaraderie.
5 stars all around. The food was superb The service was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was knowledgeable , friendly & non-intrusive. He was attentive without making us feel rushed. Our dishes were delicious The Portuguese wine delicious but reasonably priced. My wife & I were transported back to Portugal which we visited last year. Highly recommend this establishment without reservation!!
Wow. What a Portuguese treasure everything authentic right down to the beer. We shared different appetizers.we even shared the desserts & they were amazing. Great selection of Portuguese wines. The employees were super nice & helpful. Definitely a keeper on my list.
We were craving Portuguese food & picked this place on a whim. We are so glad that we did. After spending time in Portugal, we developed a deep love for its polvo, arroz de marisco & pastel de nata. Here, we were able to taste such authentic & delicious renditions. We also loved the white wine from Douro Valley. Our compliments to the chef & staff! It was definitely one of our favorite dining experiences in Montreal. Obrigada!
Wow. What a fantastic meal. We were four & shared tapas all evening & every dish was fantastic. Wine prices are very good & our server recommended good bottles.
We love the freshness & variety of the Portuguese restaurant. After several bad experiences at other new places we came back to a place we trust & we're not disappointed. It was a quiet night & so ambiancewise could have been more fun, but the food & wine were top drawe
A warm welcome & adequate covid measures. We had the recommended grilled calamare & swordfish. Both paired with a nice portuguese white wine. Both dishes were simple, but very tasty, compliments to the family recipe. Overall it was a relaxed atmospere, but still the crew was always attentive.

Absolutely lovely time here! The food was fresh & delicious, seafood perfection. The grilled calamari & garlic shrimp were stand out items, along with the octopus salad. Great Portuguese wine options as well. 10/10 would go back!
Excellent food, prices & service & ambience. Great for quite romantic night as well as a big group.
We came again with friends to have dinner & we were received with great warmth although it was only our second time. We chose 5 tapas & 4 meals; each Was more delicious than the other. Excellent attentive service & they accommodated our dietary restrictions/ preferences in the dishes. The beer is amazing. The wine is very good. Looking very forward to go again
I attended this restaurant twice: once with a large group of people, & soon after with a good friend. The two experiences were as different as night & day. The first time, one of the members of my group knew the chef, so we were treated to exquisite tapas & a truly perfect experience. The restaurant was full on a Thursday evening & the ambiance was wonderful. The second time was on a Friday night. The restaurant was empty, the waiter claimed that they didn't have a certain wine when I'd tasted it there just a few evenings prior to that. Two of the wines they suggested were mediocre at best, although this is a restaurant with a reputation for a great wine list. The octopus was charred in places. The salad was drenched in oil & lacked subtlety. The grilled meats platter was perfectly ordinary & would have been just as decent & far cheaper at the Portuguese takeout grill a few doors East. The dessert, a spaghetti-squash tart, which is supposed to be sticky & moist, was dry & over-baked. It was a bit of a disaster & I felt embarrassed that I'd recommended this place to my friend. If the chef only excels when his friends are around, I don't think I'll be coming back.
Pros: The place is nice. It's classy, it looks good. The wine card is very suitable to the restaurant & the prices are reasonable. We had two Pe Brancos (Portuguese) that our waiter suggested in place of a Spanish wine we originally wanted & we weren't disappointed.
The Cons: The price to value ratio. Don't get me wrong, everything I tasted was delicious & all the plates I saw looked delicious as well but the portions were all so small. My personal complaint is aimed towards the Grilled Seafood Platter, which costs 40$/person. We were around 6 on our table that chose to go with this because being of Spanish decent, there is nothing more delicious than a large platter full of seafood you can order at some restaurants in Spain/Portugal. This had nothing to do with that. Although everything that was served on the plate was tasty, there were very little food served. We all felt pretty ripped off to be honest. It's not really the price, it's just the "By person" mention that makes it sound like it's going to be like at those Argentinian restaurants that have a similar concept but where you leave the place stuffed & delighted.
In this case, when we got home, we had to bake a pizza.
