On ne choisit pas le Bistro Tôt ou Tard par hasard : on y revient. Installé sur la rue Cherrier dans le Plateau-Mont-Royal, cet endroit dégage dès l'entrée une chaleur authentique qu'on ne trouve pas dans les adresses formatées pour touristes.

L'accueil est sincère, souriant, & on se sent immédiatement à sa place - que ce soit en salle ou en terrasse avec vue sur le parc.

Dans l'assiette, c'est généreux, sans détour. Les portions sont franches, les produits bien choisis, & la cuisine honnête dans le bon sens du terme : elle nourrit vraiment & elle fait plaisir.

Ce genre de brasserie du quotidien où l'on mange bien sans se prendre la tête - une denrée de plus en plus rare à Montréal.
Ce qui m'a particulièrement convaincu, c'est le rapport qualité-prix. Pour 20 à 30 dollars par personne, on repart rassasié & satisfait, avec l'impression d'en avoir eu pour son argent - voire plus.

La carte bière & vins complète bien l'ensemble, & les cocktails sont soignés.

Une belle adresse de bistrot montréalais à recommander sans hésitation, aussi bien pour un déjeuner tranquille que pour une soirée décontractée entre amis.
