Review Summary

Reviews of Bistro Le Picollo show a mix of strong service and some menu and value issues. Breakfast was included with the room and a buffet required advance reservation, but popular items like eggs, ham, potatoes and sausage ran out and guests waited for the food, with extra charges for bacon and orange juice and bottled water needed due to taste and cost concerns. Supper drew mixed reactions, with some dishes described as burnt or overcooked and fries cold, and a shrimp dish with sausage and an unappealing sauce left some diners disappointed. Drinks were noted as pricey for the setting. On the positive side, several reviews praised the food quality as very good to excellent, the presentation as nice, and the service as courteous and attentive, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere; reviewers often noted fair value for quality and quantity, though the overall impression varied by meal and experience.

Breakfast & supper was included, with our room at the hotel. We got to the buffet breakfast, reservation required. There was no eggs, no'ham', no potatoes & no sausage left. We had to wait a good 8 mins for the food to arrive. To have bacon & orange juice you have to pay for it, it sucks for someone who does not drink tea or coffee, the water takes like chlorine. We had to buy water bottles. Fine whatever.
The service was absolutely wonderful. Supper, was definitely not a hit for me, burnt veggies, overcooked meat & cold fries. I paid extra for shrimps, unfortunately it had a nasty sauce & came with some type of sausage. The drinks were pretty pricey for the place & how it was presented to us.

Bader our waiter was fantastic! Offered great service, friendly, funny food excellent!!! Thank you, Mimma I wanted to add that Sandrine was very cheerful & efficient, considering she was the only waitress at breakfast. (Breakfast ok, could be better.
