Ambiance chaleureuse et cadre agréable, le Bistro La Traite séduit par une équipe sympathique et attentive qui met rapidement les convives à l'aise. La carte est variée et généreuse, avec des soupes savoureuses et des plats de terroir qui accompagnent bien les bières artisanales et les vins de qualité, le tout à des prix raisonnables et un bon rapport qualité-prix. La terrasse offre une belle vue sur le verger et le bord de l'eau, idéale pour des déjeuners ordinaires ou des occasions spéciales, le service restant rapide et efficace même en période d'affluence. L'ambiance reste conviviale et chaleureuse, les plats se veulent soignés et diversifiés, ce qui incite à revenir et à envisager le lieu pour des événements ou des repas entre amis.
We visit this restaurant again & again - it's truly our favorite. The soups are always outstanding: full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients, & wonderfully comforting. The staff are friendly & the atmosphere is cozy, so it's great for everyday lunches & for special occasions alike. After dinner it's lovely to walk around the area & take in the beautiful views - we highly recommend it for any celebration or a relaxed meal.
I recently stayed at Manoir D'Youville for one night. While the room was quite small & there was no AC, the provided fan helped a bit with the heat. However, the outstanding view & the beautiful hotel area more than made up for it. The surroundings are serene & picturesque, making it a lovely place to stay. Overall, a pleasant experience despite the room size & lack of AC.
Beautiful location, sunset, small room, shared bathroom like in a hostel, no a/c & its hot, fan is not helping as well, normal breakfast.
We also went to the restaurant nearby, nothing fancy, bit expensive for the quantity & quality.
Reservations are recommended at lunchtime as it is a very busy restaurant. The service was very efficient & the waitress accommodated an extra person & a special request with a smile. The food was well-liked by our group of 11. Although it took quite a long time to be served with the meal, the drinks were served rapidly & the ambiance was great on the outdoor terrace on a beautiful day. Everybody left happy & very satisfied with the luncheon.
The place is beautiful & peaceful. The menu is variated. The portions are actually massive. We ordered the burger D'Youville, Poke bowl, Penne à la Tara & Nachos. All delicious. Price is in the range of a bit less than 20$ per dish. They have wines & beers too. Did not try them. Service was good. Everyone nice. Recommended.

The service & food were excellent in a beautiful outdoor setting on Ile St. Bernard...I frequent this Bistro often with my group of friends...love it !
As always, the food & service were perfect. We sat on the patio enjoying the beautiful view of the orchard. The waitress was wonderful & offered us suggestions for which beers to pair with our meals. Calamar entree, chicken caesar salad, Youville burger & Salmon tartare were all delicious & well presented. Beautiful location. Only downside was even though we had a reservation at the Bistro, the island was very busy & there was no parking available. We had quite a walk to make & were a little late.
An unforgettable Dining experience in Mother Nature at beautiful Ile. St Bernard on stunning Lac St. Louis ! The Bistro offers an extensive beverage list & it is a great place to relax whatever the occasion is....I did not feel rushed to leave & the service is impeccable...so polite & sincere ! The food is always great & the burgers are so big, it's hard to finish...I am vegetarian & La Traite Bistro is vegan friendly...what more can you ask for.... to dine in a beautiful , clean environment !

Relaxed dining area set in a beautiful environment. The menu is more limited than some but the food is an excellent quality & you get great value for your dollar. Extensive beer menu with many wonderful local brews. If you want a great date night or place to relax with friends over a wonderful meal, this is the place to go.
