Qualité vraiment impressionante, en particulier pour le prix. À Montréal, c'est vraiment parmis les plus proches des sushis au Japon sans faire sauter la banque.
100% recommended!
I honestly wouldn't come back.
The food was pretty disappointing. We ordered the fried calamari, & it didn't seem to be cooked properly-it was still a bit undercooked. Then we ordered the teriyaki chicken, but the sauce was way too sweet, the chicken was very dry, & at first glance it even looked more like salmon than chicken. The dumplings were okay, & the octopus balls were decent, but they weren't enough to make up for the rest of the meal.
What made the experience even worse was the service. The server kept staring at us almost the entire time, even while we were eating, which made us feel really uncomfortable. It honestly felt like we were being watched the whole time for no apparent reason. We're both 20-year-old adults who were simply there to enjoy a meal, so it was an odd & unpleasant experience. We also noticed that this didn't seem to happen with other customers who came in later.
Overall, between the disappointing food & the uncomfortable service, I can't recommend this restaurant.
I have been coming to this restaurant since looong time ago; when they relocated from avenue parc to Lasalle, which then became too far from me back then & recently I visited twice within the last 2 weeks.
Bottom line, still the same great place & this is the Authentic Japanese restaurant run by Japanese family. To those of you who love sushi saying that you love fried dragon Maki roll with lots of mayo sauce, you may find it blend. You may say you like Japanese food but you don't want to eat raw fish or seaweed you will still find several options here, & one thing for sure I guarantee, for the price & quality you get in this place, it is rare & this is very close to what you can expect to eat in Japan.
You will find variety of fresh fish options for sushi, not just common type of salmon, tuna, crab meat & sweet omelet; you will find mackerel, scallop, squid, yellow tail & etc where you can eat them raw only when they are extremely fresh otherwise you will get sick. (See if you can find them at your all you can eat sushi restaurants). Other dishes including grilled chicken screwers, grilled squid, tuna carpaccio, unagi pie (grilled eel & spinach in a puff pastry with teriyaki sauce), Everything is perfectly seasoned, well prepared, & ultimately, their sushi rice is always perfectly cooked & seasoned. ( had enough of those places with soggy rice & they still roll their maki).
I highly recommend this place & I will still be a repeat customer.
An excellent Japanese restaurant with a great variety of dishes. We tried a lot of the menu, & everything was absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly, the kitchen appears very clean, & the restaurant is stylishly decorated. Considering the portion sizes, the quality & the taste of the food, the prices are quite reasonable. Truly a great experience - highly recommended without any reservation.
This sushi is so ridiculously good We are lucky to have this option in LaSalle I've tried every sushi place within 3km & this is easily the best Recommend the sushi combo plates
Had takeout there & everything was good. We had Tonkatsu, Gyutan, Age Natsu, Ohitashi & Unadon. Standout to me was the Gyutan beef tongue -great flavor & grilled yet tender texture. Food is not overly flavored or unhealthy either. I definitely recommend this place.
