Japanese Family run restaurant that serves delicious authentic food & Sake.
I honestly wouldn't come back.
The food was pretty disappointing. We ordered the fried calamari, & it didn't seem to be cooked properly-it was still a bit undercooked. Then we ordered the teriyaki chicken, but the sauce was way too sweet, the chicken was very dry, & at first glance it even looked more like salmon than chicken. The dumplings were okay, & the octopus balls were decent, but they weren't enough to make up for the rest of the meal.
What made the experience even worse was the service. The server kept staring at us almost the entire time, even while we were eating, which made us feel really uncomfortable. It honestly felt like we were being watched the whole time for no apparent reason. We're both 20-year-old adults who were simply there to enjoy a meal, so it was an odd & unpleasant experience. We also noticed that this didn't seem to happen with other customers who came in later.
Overall, between the disappointing food & the uncomfortable service, I can't recommend this restaurant.
Food was good, but, customers shouldn't have to wait 2 hours for their main food to arrive. I really don't wanna be that person but the 4 workers seem confused with what there doing & i often see two people do a one person job. The women what i assume is the manager seem to take her time standing around staring at the workers or reorganizing plastic containers when someone is at the cashier waiting for her.
The food/service may be fine, but I was very disappointed to see staff taking their cigarette breaks right beside the outdoor play area of a daycare next door. As a business, there should be more consideration for children's health. It's unpleasant & inappropriate to expose kids & even the teachers to secondhand smoke.
I hope management takes this seriously & designates a proper smoking area away from neighboring daycare play area. This reflects the business to me & will no longer supporting this place . *I had asked the cooks along with the teachers if they could please move & they refused.
A real hidden gem in LaSalle! ✨🍣✨
The sushi is very fresh & beautifully presented. You can tell the chef puts a lot of care into every piece - from the perfectly cut sashimi to the delicate nigiri & well balanced rolls. Great variety & everything tasted amazing.
One of the best sushi spots in Montreal . Will definitely come back again!💯
