Excellent service & food, all of which was unique. Our waiter Roberto Nacho was fantastic as well. Will be back. Highly recommend the $45 tasting menu.
Our experience at El Chino was fantastic. The food, a mix of Latin & Asian fusion, was fresh, innovative, & most importantly, delicious. The tasting menu is very reasonably priced & we left full & satisfied! Ideally, go with 4 people so you can try just about everything on the tasting menu. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. You can tell Roberto Nacho loves what he does & it made the whole experience even more wonderful. Very cute & cozy ambiance, great music, & you can definitely chat with the people at your table without having to yell.

The tasting menu was absolutely AMAZING, the sea food was super fresh & not at all rubbery, the music was a vibe & our server, Angela I believe, was extremely kind & welcoming. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. It's an absolute 10/10 on everything.

We had such an amazing time at this restaurant with delicious food, a friendly waitress & tasty cocktails.
The chef clearly put a lot of intention in creating the menu. The flavors were well balanced & all the plates had a little something special. The amazing sauces really make their meals stand out.
Great tapas bistro, mixing Asian & Latin food. The tasting menu for 2 is very much worth it, delicate meals at a decent price.

We love Peruvian food & tried it only in Peru & Central American countries. This was the first time we had it in Canada. & let me tell you, this was AMAZING! From the moment we've been seated the service was great (thank you Robert!). We had a tasting menu with fish. Flavors were so fresh & took us back to the warm south days! Ceviche, yucca, sauces!!!!! -everything was 5 stars. There was enough food for 2.
The place itself is nicely decorated & clean. The atmosphere is very welcoming.
We will definitely be back.

Wow is the only word that comes to mind when I think of the meal that I had at this restaurant. It's been a long time I haven't had the chance to taste something so unique & delicious. My friend & I came & tried the tasting menu for 2, which is well priced for the amount of food you're getting, & we absolutely adored every single dish. The flavors were absolutely amazing.
On top of the food being excellent, we had gone on a day where there was less people, so our waiter took his time explaining each dish to us. The waiter was kind, helpful when we had questions & offered suggestions. Amazing service as well.
The ambiance is very nice & the music is good. To top it all off, the cleanliness of their restaurant & bathrooms are a 10/10.
There is not a single negative thing I can say about this restaurant. Truly a great experience & I am already looking forward to going again & trying the second options on the tasting menu.
We tried the 5 course tasting menu & wow !! So many amazing flavours, especially the tuna tataki.. everything was so delicious! Service was so warm & friendly, & vibes are just perfect. I definitely recommend this place!
We had an amazing dinner at El Chino! The service is exceptional - big shout out to Roberto that was so knowledgeable in the menu & overall food scene in Montreal. The food is incredible & so diverse & flavourful! I highly recommend you try their tasting menu as you can taste different highlights of their menu. The octopus & tataki was incredible!
Incredible food. Unlike anything slice ever tasted before!! Amazing service & beautiful decor. Very warm atmosphere. Would 10/10 recommend the tasting menu with the tapas. Enjoy this amazing restaurant!!
