Charming restaurant near Park Lafontaine. We expected authentic Vietnamese based on the ratings but were disappointed to find it so westernized. My curry was very sweet & the Ph? broth lacking in flavour. If you are new to Vietnamese you may very well love it & agree with the other reviews.
Bistro CÔ ÚT is a fantastic spot for authentic & flavorful Vietnamese cuisine in Montreal. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere & a cozy bistro feel that makes the dining experience very comfortable.
The food is fresh, flavorful, & well-prepared with great attention to detail. Everything we tried tasted authentic & satisfying, with good portion sizes & a nice variety on the menu.
A special highlight was the Vietnamese coffee. We tried both the iced/cold Vietnamese coffee & the hot Vietnamese coffee, & both were absolutely amazing. The staff recommended them, & it was honestly one of the best parts of the visit-rich, strong, & perfectly balanced in flavor.
The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, & helpful, making great suggestions & ensuring we had a great experience from start to finish.
Overall, Bistro CÔ ÚT is a must-visit for great Vietnamese food, excellent coffee, & outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Insanely delicious food. On a Monday evening they were a little overwhelmed with the amount of crowds that rushed into the restaurant after 8pm.
Hands down the food was one of the best I ever had (Vietnamese cuisine). We had this chicken dish with rice number 1 which was a little spicy & just super duper good. Can't recommend it enough.
First time trying Vietnamese food & I highly recommend this place. Tried Gà Tào (I would say it was mildly spicy), & Ph? Bò Cô Út (for which they bring you the ingredients separately, including the spicy sauce, & then you'll get the stone bowl & you can add whatever you want into the hot soup).
This place continues to be 5 stars - their Japanese style fried shrimp & pho bo are my absolute favourite. On top of that - it's probably fanciest dining room among any Vietnamese restaurant I go to, but for the same good value. There menu is vast & everything I tried was excellent.
This restaurant was so delicious & the atmosphere & service were amazing! Everything we ordered was so fresh & high quality ingredients. The house made cocktails were so good too & very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this for a nice date night or out with friends to relax & enjoy amazing Vietnamese food! Our waiter was exceptional too!
Food was not the most tasty Vietnamese food I had, really blend. We had the Mojito & it was really deceiving. Service was so slow, but they were missing someone as per staff. Really disappointing experience overall. Wouldn't recommand it.
