Bistro Amerigo honors Amerigo Marcone, father of chef-owner Stephen Marcone. Since 2010, this cozy Italian bistro in NDG’s Monkland Village has been serving simple, carefully prepared dishes, warm hospitality, and a drink to bring it all together. Known for hand-rolled meatballs, crisp fried calamari, and fresh pastas, Amerigo also offers classic Italian cocktails and a focused Italian wine list.

Small quaint place & full of people. Obviously a well known place in the area as a lot of people seemed to be regulars. Food & service was good. Salads included in your order ! I'd go back.

A perfect neighborhood restaurant. Cozy on a fall evening. The service is always friendly & decontracte but precise & on point. Small menu but every dish is perfection. Highly recommended

Every time we go there we try a new plate & it's better than the plate we had the last time. Service is great, owner greets you & is very hospitable. Try the apperol spritz & the lamb. Sooooooo so good.

Overall & amazing performance experience. Although they do not take reservations & it can be a wait, the food & services make up for it. Portions are amazing & services is phenomenal. Food comes fast & the staff is always checking in to make sure everything is perfect! I would definitely recommend!

We wanted to try out this restaurant for a while now, considering my husband has the same name as the restaurant . The restaurant was very busy ....we were advised a half hour wait time for a table ... after 60 mins ....i walked in to ask what the status was on our table ... I was shocked by the comment I received from the MANAGER of the restaurant .... He told me "the more I ask , the longer I would wait".... I couldn't believe a manager would say such a thing as you would think his patrons would be of his utmost priority ....Needless to say we stayed for dinner despite this rude comment, lack of people skills & poor customer service. Food was great but after his arrogance & rudeness we have decided to never return back. Real shame !
