Absolutely loved our experience at Birdhouse! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm & welcoming. The real highlight of our visit was Ben , hands down one of the best waiters we've ever had. Super friendly, attentive, & genuinely helpful. He took the time to walk us through the menu & made amazing recommendations that we ended up loving. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, & full of flavor. You can tell the staff really care about creating a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks again, Ben!

Our first time here, but definitely not our last!! Wings are stupendous. Crispy & bbq bord'aile sauce is perfect. I had the tuna poke bowl with the general Tao sauce as suggested by our fabulous server Kate. She made our experience downright amazing. Thanks. Kate!
It was all way too oily & over-fried! The wings were good. The cauliflower wings overly oily. It's fun you can choose a sauce for cauliflower but it just comes on the side they are not coated with the sauce. Nice vegetarian options but again - other than the salad everything was fried but not in a tasty way. It was a fun night but I wouldn't go for the food.

I got the classic poutine, the fried onion strings & a secret flavour of the chicken wings, which I believe resembled the name of'vampire slayer', which was essentially a lemon pepper flavour & you just need to ask the waitress for that flavour, since it is not on the menu!
The poutine portion was very big & I had concluded that I ordered too much food but I brought majority of it back home!!
My friend got the buffalo mac n cheese but got a different flavour of chicken & got it in the side. She said the mac n cheese was too cheesy, but the chicken was very good.
Overall, the wings & the poutine were extremely good & I would definitely come back & try other flavours!
I want to start by saying that I am a regular patron at Birdhouse & it is one of my favourite restaurants. I have been going since they opened. That being said I am truly disappointed in my last experience. I had a reservation for 4 people & I was excited because I was introducing my colleagues to birdhouse for the first time. I have spoken to them about it & raved about it for months. Upon arrival we were told that the table was reserved for two hours later. This was never mentioned when I initially made the reservation. This has also never occurred to me before in my previous visits. From that moment onward I never felt so rushed at a restaurant. Our glasses were not even a quarter empty & the waitress was refilling them with our pitcher we ordered. Dishes were being taken away while others were still eating. They had us out of there in an hour & 15 minutes. The worst part is that half of the restaurant was still filled with empty tables so it wasn't even necessary. Normally the manager always comes around to every table to ask how things are, so I was prepared to say something but he never came. It was incredibly rushed & my colleagues hated the experience & said they wouldn't return :(
I want to reiterate that the food was excellent & the waitress was extremely nice & helpful. The issue was the timing & feeling rushed. I'm so disappointed because this truly is my favourite restaurant in the west island.
Tried Birdhouse in DDO for the first time & wow-we were really impressed! The portions are huge, the food is super tasty, & the prices are honestly amazing for what you get.
Everything came out fresh & full of flavor. You can tell they care about the quality. The staff were also really friendly & helpful, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely won't be our last visit. Great spot if you're hungry & want a good meal without spending too much. Highly recommend! Shout out Julianna!
Dude if I could give 10 stars I would, the food was amazing, dragon's breath chicken wings were amazing, Devon, the staff member was amazing props to that guy he was amazing 100% recommended :)
Absolutely fantastic pub food, with very friendly staff, quick service, good sized menu with lots of options sure to please even the pickiest eater in your group. Fair prices!
This is a perfect location for a great evening in best atmosphere. Our waiter Oliver was outstanding right from the beginning. A very hearty person. He suggested the best wings we ever had. We also took Mozarella Sticks & Tacos from the menu. All of it was delicious & very interesting in taste.
The manager Chris visited our table & we had a really good time talking in german to him. It was an allover great experience for us! Don't miss the chance!
Visited from overseas during F1 weekend! Liana was super welcoming & made sure everything ran smoothly. The service & accommodations were great. Place was clean & comfortable. Would definitely visit again.
