Bistro japonais/Izakaya "Funky & Cool" à Montréal! Le Biiru est un bistro japonais sympathique situé au centre-ville, sur la rue City Councillors, dissimulé dans l’ombre de l’église St-James, à quelques pas de la rue Ste-Catherine. Le chef se fait un plaisir de vous offrir des plats traditionnels et raffinés; vous n’avez qu’à goûter aux côtes de porc à la chair tendre et juteuse, marinées dans une sauce caramélisée. Elles fondent tout simplement dans la bouche! Les légumes tempura, cuits à point, sont également irrésistibles. Bref, le menu vous laisse bouche bée tant les spécialités sont toutes meilleures les unes que les autres. Vous y trouvez aussi une variété de délicieux tapas, idéal pour déguster en entrées! Le personnel aimable et courtois se fera un plaisir de vous accueillir, et vous promet un excellent 5 à 7 entre amis ou collègues. This place is awesome. I can't describe it more than that.
I found this place that's close to the hotel my conference is in this week. It's really non-descript with their sign outside, but what a great place. I've come for lunch every day this week.
The staff is amazing. Mike & Alex are just wonderful people, & the folks making the food are doing incredible work. The pork gyozas are amazing, & the tune poke is some of the best I've had (& I've had it in Hawaii & Tokyo).

We had an incredible time at Birru, & it was all thanks to our amazing server, Jessica! She was so attentive, friendly, & truly made the experience special. The drinks were great, but her energy & kindness made the night unforgettable. If you go, ask for Jessica-she's the best!

Our first visit tothis restaurant, it was a great time. Our server Mike recommended the Sampler which consists of the chicken karage, salmon tarta, pork gyoza, fish with caramel, cold noodles topped with seaweed & to finish the pork ribs. All were super tasty & well presented. We also had the Yuzu beer absolutely delicious. Our server Mike is so pleasant & personable he made our meal very enjoyable. I went to Biiru with a large group of friends (over 15 people) & we had the loveliest dinner, with amazing service, waiters that were eager to help & accommodate any food restrictions & an overall impeccable vibe!
I would recommend the okonomiyaki to anyone who wants the best Japanese pancake they've ever had - truly delicious, & I couldn't get enough of it!! Will definitely be coming back to Biiru for that dish alone.
Also, special thanks to Juliana, who was an extraordinary waiter & really went out of her way to make this a great evening for everyone in our group. Her drinks were wonderful . She was kind, always smiling, super quick on her feet & just an overall ray of energy. Definitely a highlight of the dinner!Voir plus
