Everything was fresh, well seasoned, tasty & delicious. We took the option degustation as we were a group of 8 & we got a price of 65$ per person. We had 1 salad (fresh & yummy), hummus, labneh with garlic, eggplant moutabbal, yalangy (vine leaves, delicious), cheese rolls, sukuk roll, & a mixed grilled plate, accompanied with fresh pita bread even have a dessert, ice cream with sugar cotton ( that one I didn't like). The portions are very generous. They have good variety of wine & the cherry in the sundae, a violinist playing live. We went on a Friday night, if ever there is a difference in the quality of the meals.
The pricing structure appears to be unfavorable, with a high cost associated with a limited quantity. The primary concern is not the affordability, but rather the value proposition, considering the interplay of quality, quantity, & price.
The Shankaleesh was to die for. The portion size was generous which makes the price worth it. Both kebab choices (khashkash & the cherry kebab) were juicy & flavourful. It was worth the trip!
The staff are very welcoming, & the servers are professional. We went with the Beroya tasting menu, which was recommended by our server. Overall, the food quality was excellent, & the ambiance was great.
Price-wise, the tasting menu is $65 per person, with a minimum of two people. With taxes, you're looking at around $149 before tip. Is it worth it? Probably yes. The quality of what you're eating justify the price. However, it's worth noting that you could get a similar meal setup elsewhere for less, so that's something to keep in mind.
The food & cocktails are very tasty ! I forgot to take a picture of the main meat dishes, but if you're new to Syrian food, try the tasting menu ! I reccomend taking it if you are in a group of 3 people.
Very lovely & fast service. The employees are attentive & quick. The tables are very clean.
Pricey, but quite affordable compared to other restaurants.
The food was pricey, but it was outstanding & worth it. The receptionist was wonderful & so were the wait staff. Will be going back
Food was good but some plates tasted old the baba ghanoush & mhamara. Not my first time there but my husband & sister both got food poisoning & were sick for at least 24 hours after.
On a Saturday evening/ night, it was very loud & noisy with lots of families with young children. We couldn't even hear the oud player & we were right next to him. For the price, not a fine dining experience. Many better restaurants with nicer experience, service & ambiance.
Food is good
Service doesn't match their prices...at all, & they automatically expect a 15% tip lol
& I don't understand why ketchup is served in small packets like we are at a fast food chain.....you're charging over 10$ for a basket of fries... buy normal ketchup bottles for your clients...
Beroya always delivers. The servers are so friendly & give good recommendations. I would say they are also in the top 5 fastest to serve our meals from the moment we ordered it. Super fast & efficient! As for the food, it is so good & authentic. It is my go to when I'm craving Syrian/lebanese/armenian food. The price is also quite reasonable for the quality & taste of the food as well as the fast service. Would definitely keep going back!
Amazing food never disappoints! Waseem, our waiter was super friendly & helpful. Prices are great too!
A friend of mine told me to try, & it was totally worth it for the price & experience The vibe was super calm & pleasing, & the service amazing. Will come back for sure.
Tried this spot for the first time tonight, & everyone loved it! Delicious food, quick & friendly service, beautiful space & well priced! We will definitely be returning!
We were a party of 9 so we had to choose from the three options of the set menu, the food turned out to be mediocre with reference to the prices, it was +$80 each. It was overpriced, overcrowded, short-staffed eventhough they were trying to do their best to accommodate everyone, but you can notice they're exhausted for being overworked.. I don't think I'm coming back to this place nor recommend it to anyone I know..
Went to Beroya for the first time, after being invited by friends. We ordered the "menu de degustation" for $75....with one bottle of wine & one small bottle of Arak. Ordered one extra dish & ice cream (2 x $22). Final tab came to $285/couple including tip & taxes. Way over priced for what it is...food was OK...not WOW. Would have been better off ordering "a la carte". Would have likely been cheaper.
Food was okay nothing great but not bad, considering the price though it's over rated . Service was less than okay, I had to waive down my waiter for every thing, not once did he ask if we needed anything. Once I payed, the waiter stood there awkwardly to make sure I tipped, although I told him I dont want the receipt, & disappeared when he saw I did tip I won't be going back & to my friends I'll be reminding them of all the better options
Great food & decent service. The fixed menu is a lot of food & not worth the price.
This restaurant is considered one of the best places to try Syrian cuisine. It is clean, the service is fast & excellent, & the prices are reasonable. It was an excellent visit with friends who were tasting Syrian food for the first time & they were very impressed with the food. I recommend it.
