Honestly, I thought I wouldn't have to ask for a menu, but I ask a woman who was standing near me doing nothing… turns out she was the manager & I think maybe even an owner, she told me word for word ' Do not ask me, Ask the server or bartender'. I as a customer, was asking anyone who was there, & for the manager/owner to answer me like that….. As a customer I found it really unprofessional & disrespectful. I will say, I had Michelle as my bartender & I I really enjoyed her service. She was so sweet & suggested a really good drink & turned the night around.
The service was unpleasant, the nachos came out cold & one burger order came out completely wrong. They took the burger back & brought the correct order, eventually, but were very unapologetic. They did admit that they gave the original burger to the table beside us. It wasn't even busy - quite slow & quiet in the restaurant at the time. I would not go back & do not recommend this location.
I just didn't like the flavor of the burger or lack of freshness of the fries in comparison to the la belle & La boeuf in centropolis. But service & atmosphere is WAY better here. But for the money the food is not worth it.
My experience at La Belle La Boeuf this evening was extremely disappointing & unacceptable.
Between approximately 7:10 PM & 7:19 PM, I was served by a waiter who appeared to be a white male with a partially bald head & a black-&-white beard. I waited about 40 minutes for my food to arrive & an additional 20 minutes just to receive my receipt, which already made the service experience very poor.
When it came time to pay, I left a $5 tip, which I felt was appropriate given the quality of service. When the waiter saw the tip, he threw the $5 bill back at me. This behavior was highly unprofessional & disrespectful.
This type of conduct is unacceptable in a customer service environment. I expect this matter to be taken seriously & addressed by management. If I do not receive a response regarding how this situation will be handled, I will consider escalating the matter further.
I look forward to hearing from management regarding this incident.
Poor execution from start to finish. Order wasn't handled properly & service felt disorganized. The beef tartare was especially off, more like a weird ketchup creation than anything refined.
They're already aware since my girlfriend shared detailed feedback & was invited to follow up so they could make it right. It's now been over a week with no response. Feels like a scripted process with no real intent behind it.
Won't be going back.
The restaurant has a lovely, calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly & polite, providing warm & welcoming service.
The food is average ,not bad, but nothing special.
Overall it's a nice place to visit.
Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here! The atmosphere was warm & welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The food was exceptional - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, & beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The portions were generous & well worth the price. The restaurant was clean & well-maintained, & despite being busy, we didn't feel rushed. The dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. We'll definitely be returning soon & would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal & excellent service. Five stars!
I was really disappointed with my recent experience at La Belle & La Boeuf. We first called to place a takeout order, & they suggested we order online because we'HAVE' to place it online, which we did. I placed an order for 2 beef tartares & a mini gogo around 5 PM for a 6 PM pickup.
When we arrived at 6, we were told that they missed the online order entirely & had not even started preparing it. They apologized & said it would only take 10-15 minutes since the tartares were fresh. While waiting, I asked a waitress to add a dessert to go. She said she would place the order but then went to serve the dining area, so I had to place it myself at the bar.
The food itself was underwhelming. The beef tartare had a flavor that reminded me of a sweet spaghetti sauce, which was very disappointing.
Overall, the combination of mismanaged online orders, inattentive service, & disappointing food left me dissatisfied. Unfortunately, this was likely my last visit to La Belle & La Boeuf.
