Nous nous sommes rabattus sur ce restaurant car celui que nous avions choisis avait une file d'attente qui n'avancait pas (en plein pendant l'heude lunch du nouvel an lunaire). De plus, une collègue Chinoise m'avait dit qq jours + tôt qu'elle ne mangeait qu'à cet endroit. Nous avons un peu attendus avant de pouvoir nous attabler à une table que nous avons partagé avec 3 autres familles. Ça a super bien été. C'était très friendly. Le décor du resto, lui, laisse a desirer. Le staff fait tout son gros possible. Concernant la bouffe, le riz frit végétarien & le boeuf à l'échalote & au gingembre étaient excellents. Concernant le poulet à l'ananas. C'était très décevant. Il y avait 5 mini morceaux d'ananas, un poulet caoutchouteux & une sauce pas faite maison. Somme toute, j'ai passé un bon moment à ce restaurant.View more

Always love coming to this restaurant. The staff are friendly, the meals are delicious (it is traditional cuisine & dining, with plenty of selections), it's definitely a recommendation if you want a good hearty meal with family. My favorite as an appetizer is the fried wontons & spring rolls, as for the dishes, they're all so good it's hard to choose.View more

We ordered beef noodles #196/197 if I'm not mistaken. The food came tongue-burning hot & surprisingly without chopsticks so we asked for two pairs of them The food was yummy & in a generous portion also side along with green tea The service was ok. If you have Asian friends, better to go together as the menu can make you overwhelmed easily.View more

I loved that Chinese restaurant, very welcoming staff. Free tea with you meal, very good way to clean your palate between each bite. The dumpling in spicy peanut sauce wasn't spicy at all but damn it was good !! The general Tao was the best I've eaten in a while. Very sweet sauce, crunchy chicken filet & generous portion for the price. I highly recommend the General Tao! I also tried the pork salt & spices & it was really good portion for the price & oh damn it was yummy 🤤 The chow mein Beijing had noodles too crunchy for my taste but it was okay taste wise.View more

We had a great time, though we had a couple hiccups. The vegetable hot & sour soup came with pork & shrimp, which the meat eaters found delightful but wasn't so great for the vegetarians with us. The main dishes took quite a while to arrive - also difficult for the vegetarians since they hadn't eaten the soup. But in spite of that, we did have an enjoyable time.View more

I've visited this place years ago with some family & I feel like the food quality has diminished substantially. We ordered general Tao & fried won tons & the meals were fairly bland. It is OK for a quick bite but there are better venues.View more

This is the best Chinese food restaurant in Montreal. The portions are great, & the food quality is outstanding. Everything is freshly made & piping hot as it hits the table. This place is so good we ate there twice. I recommend the General's Beef, General's chicken, & lemon chicken. Both of these dishes are stellar. This restaurant was located within walking distance from our hotel on St. Catherine St.View more
