The workers were very kind & helpful. Thank you for the great meal!View more
The quality of their dishes has gone down! Ordered their rice noodles with beef (classic Cantonese dish) & beef was tough like leather . They cut down on everything & increase their prices. Save your money & go somewhere else!View more
Used to be a good restaurant although owners(managers?) were never even close to friendly even though I had gone there regularly with my family for years. Quality kept going down, owners remained indifferent, my favorite was when I informed them the shrimp was off, & they told me it wasn't! If a customer thinks the shrimp is bad, it's bad, it's not negotiable!!! Anyhow I don't go there anymore & neither should anyone else. There are other better or similar restaurants around. Clue, mostly only tourists go to Bejing these days.View more
Un classique du quartier chinois. Service courtois & plusieurs choix.View more

Oh, Beijing Chinese Restaurant in Montreal! Where do I even begin with this culinary marvel? From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for something truly... memorable.
The General Tao chicken was, without a doubt, a masterclass in... well, chicken. Each piece was a testament to the chef's bold vision, perfectly capturing that elusive balance of'chicken' &'sauce.' & the vegetable fried rice? A symphony of grains & what I can only assume were vegetables, each grain standing proudly on its own, refusing to be overshadowed by any mere flavor.
Then came the breaded shrimp - a revelation! The breading was so robust, so confident, it almost made you forget there was a shrimp somewhere inside. A true triumph of texture. & the egg rolls? Crispy, yes, undeniably crispy. They certainly held their shape, which is more than one can say for some lesser egg rolls.
But the pièce de résistance, the crowning glory, was the Chinese broccoli. It was green. It was leafy. It was... broccoli. A minimalist's dream, showcasing the raw, unadulterated essence of the vegetable.
In summary, if you're looking for an experience that challenges your perceptions of'delicious' & leaves you with a lingering sense of... something, then Beijing Chinese Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Five stars for daring to be so uniquely... itself!View more
Everything was very nice, even the waiter was very kind. It's not expensive.View more
Second time I eat here, & second time I've loved it. Food is great, & service has improved.View more
From Florida where you can't find real Chinese food, at least in the Tampa area. Nothing but take out.
We found the Beijing restaurant because it was close to our hotel & thought we'd try it. We were pleased. Very good egg rolls & tasty wonton soup. We ordered a dinner for two which was easily enough for three, reasonably priced & all the dishes were pretty tasty. Yes, they could improve the decor a bit. LoL
Very good service, probably from the owner himself & he had a great personality.View more
I love the place. The two staff members we saw were lovely, polite & attentive. I told my boyfriend about the lack of music, then suddenly, something started playing softly. We had the Shanghai noodles (my boyfriend & I mistakenly thought it was a less spicy version of Singapore Noodles, for some reason. We were wrong but liked it anyway.) & the eggplant ! I recommend that dish the most. It had a nice meaty flavor from pork. 10/10 dish & will be my lunch tomorrow. I'll be back to try more of the menu. The restaurant was clean, including the ladies' bathroom. Prices are great for the portion size.View more
Beijing has been an establishment of sheer quality consistency, a sure bet Chinese restaurant since I was of age of spending money on Chinese food & is still the case today when I consider eating Chinese food in Chinatown.
Service is always welcoming, food quality there is above Chinatown average which saddens me when I've heard their opening hours were shorter (they close earlier now).
Aside from that, we've often used them for take out & uber eats to great delight.
Long live Beijing!View more
